In this Quarter-Finals game, the #3 seed, Pandas FC, took on the #5 seed, Smalley FC. Pandas FC took home the win in this match with a score of 3-1. Smalley FC really didn’t have their best stuff in terms of scoring in this one, scoring less than their average of 1.6 goals per game this season. Eric scored the only goal for Smalley FC to save them from a shutout. Matt Darling scored in this playoff win for Pandas FC, putting two shots past the Smalley FC goalkeeper. He was also aided by Tim Griffin who scored one goal to get the team to their winning score of three. Smalley FC was eliminated following their loss in this game. Hit or Miss-fits (6-1-1) vs. Pandas FC (5-4) – Tuesday, August 20, 2019

It was an exciting Semi-Finals games, in which the #1 seed, Hit or Miss-fits, squeaked by with a 1-point win against the #3 seed, Pandas FC 1-0. The two MVPs in this close match were the goalkeeper for Hit or Miss-fits who had a shutout, and Paul Clementi who scored the only goal of the game. Next up for Hit or Miss-fits is the championship game next week. Pandas FC was eliminated from playoff contention following this Semi-Finals loss.

Kicking&Screaming (5-4-1) vs. INDY Team #2 (1-7-1) – Tuesday, August 20, 2019

In this Quarter-Finals game, the #4 seed, Kicking&Screaming, took on the #6 seed, INDY Team #2 and finished with a final score of 4-2. The losing team still had notable players including Brent Blackburn and Abby Moyniha, who both kicked in one goal for INDY Team #2. Kicking&Screaming came ready for a double header this week. This was the better played match, which helped them claim their #4 rank in the standings table. Robert Moauro led their team to victory with an impressive count of 4 goals.  Kicking&Screaming moved on to the semi-finals and played directly after this game, check out how they did below!

FC Red (6-2) vs. Kicking&Screaming (5-4-1) – Tuesday, August 20, 2019

It was an exciting Semi-Finals matches, in which the #2 seed, FC Red, squeaked by with a 1-point win against the #4 seed, Kicking&Screaming 3-2. This win is the second in a row for FC Red, and it moves them onto a matchup in the championship against Hit or Miss-fits. Noah Ozbag leads FC Red this season in scoring and added 2 goals to their stats this week bringing Noah Ozbag’s personal total to 16, which is the highest in the league. Emmanuel Malagon also scored in the game to push the team past Kicking&Screaming. Mack Rodney was the star player for Kicking&Screaming this week, scoring all two goals for them.
