Sunday DePaul Men’s Rec Basketball Week 8

ZS (2-6) vs. Hanging with Mr. Hooper (5-4) – Sunday, June 3, 2018
They weren’t the favored team, but ZS, the #6 seed upset the #3 seed, Hanging with Mr. Hooper, in this Quarter-Final game. ZS are having an amazing offensive season. They’re averaging 45 goals per game. Michael Dent leads ZS this season in scoring and added 38 goals to their stats this week bringing Michael Dent’s personal total to 221, which is the highest in the league. This week’s win advances ZS to semi-finals. They’ll face the #2 ranked team, No Limit (6-3-0) in a rematch. Last time they played each other No Limit won 67-37. The losing team still had notable players including Jim Conrad, who scored 13 goals for Hanging with Mr. Hooper. On the bright side for Hanging with Mr. Hooper, this loss means they can save their legs and recharge for next season.

No Limit (6-3) vs. Hoops I did it Again (1-7) – Sunday, June 3, 2018
In this Quarter-Final game, the #2 seed, No Limit, took on the #7 seed, Hoops I did it Again. The losing team still had notable players including Grant Koby, who scored 30 goals for Hoops I did it Again. No Limit are having an amazing offensive season. They’re averaging 57 goals per game. Keith Peterson led their team to victory with . Hoops I did it Again is done with playoffs, which means it’s time for a team meeting at the bar to regroup for next season!  This week’s win advances No Limit to semi-finals. They’ll face the #6 ranked team, ZS (2-6-0) in a rematch. Last time they played each other No Limit won 67-37.

Vandelay Industries (5-4) vs. Dirty Mike and The Boys (4-5) – Sunday, June 3, 2018
The #5 seed, Dirty Mike and The Boys, forfeited to the #3 seed, Vandelay Industries in this Quarter-Final game. Vandelay Industries had two games this week. Impressively, they won both matches, which means they’re officially heating up! Vandelay Industries advanced to semi-finals, and without a week to rest, jumped right into it as a double header. See how they did by reading the next recap. This was Dirty Mike and The Boys’s second forfeit of the season, likely disqualifying them from partaking in playoffs. Hopefully the loss doesn’t haunt Dirty Mike and The Boys too much. There’s always next season.
