Blue Guys (2-0) vs. FAM (0-1-1) – Wednesday, August 14, 2019

Blue Guys played well here and blanked FAM with a final score of 2-0. Blue Guys really showed up in this game, exceeding their opening game point total. Drew and Megan both scored one goal. Shout-out to their goalie for the shutout! Blue Guys will attempt to remain undefeated on Wednesday with a battle against Alright Alright Alright (1-1-1).   On Wednesday, FAM will try to get their first win versus Train Wreck (3-0-0).  

Train Wreck (3-0) vs. Alright Alright Alright (1-1-1) – Wednesday, August 14, 2019

Train Wreck were incredible on both sides of the pitch against Alright Alright Alright with a final score of 4-0. This is Alright Alright Alright’s first loss of the season.  Next up for Alright Alright Alright is a battle versus Blue Guys (2-0-0), as they look to get back into the winner’s circle. Winning all of their games so far this season, Train Wreck seem to be the team to try to beat. Matt tallied a hat trick to guide the crew’s offense while Liz scored one to get the team to four. Next week, Train Wreck will try to remain unblemished with a pairing against FAM (0-1-1). 

Toe Ballers (1-1) vs. Kick in a Box (0-2-1) – Wednesday, August 14, 2019

This is the 3rd week and both teams were still on the hunt for their first win of the season. Finally breaking their losing streak, Toe Ballers took home a win against Kick in a Box with a final score of 5-1. Toe Ballers really stepped up in this one, beating their opening game point total. Matt tallied a hat trick to help earn the team the victory and Michael scored two to get the team to five. Next up for Toe Ballers is a showdown against Chicago Handshakes (0-0-2).  Kick in a Box didn’t have their best showing on defense in this one, allowing more goals than their average of 3.3 GAPG this season. Vince scored the only goal for Kick in a Box to save them from a shutout.  Next week, Kick in a Box will attempt to get their first win with a match-up against Zombies! (0-2-1).

Chicago Handshakes (0-0-2) vs. Zombies! (0-2-1) – Wednesday, August 14, 2019

Chicago Handshakes and Zombies! were extremely well-matched in this one and finished all tied up at 1-1. Chicago Handshakes used their 1 goal scored in this game to boost their total goals this season to 2. Shab scored the team’s only goal, saving their team from defeat. Exiting week 3, Chicago Handshakes will look ahead to Toe Ballers (1-1-0) who are next on the schedule. This is Zombies!’s first tie this season and they’re currently sitting in seventh place in the standings. Tobias was the star player for Zombies! this week. They scored the only goal for them. For Zombies! they will face off with Kick in a Box (0-2-1).
