Puppy Luv (6-2) vs. Old Town Road (4-4-1) – Wednesday, October 2, 2019
Heading into this Semi-Finals games, Old Town Road were coming off their top offensive game of the season, scoring 7 goals last week. Additionally, they were the higher ranked #4 seed playing the #8 seed, Old Town Road. They confidently took the win to advance to Puppy Luv had two games this week. They won both matches, which means they’re officially heating up! Mike Eggert leads Puppy Luv this season in scoring and added 3 goals to their stats this week bringing Mike Eggert’s personal total to 4. Next up for Puppy Luv is a coveted bye week. Old Town Road really didn’t have their best stuff in this game, scoring fewer than their average of 2.1 goals per game for the year. Jonathan was among those who scored in this playoff win for Sexy Footballers, putting two shots past the Messi Diapers goalkeeper, Nathan Covey. It was an exciting Semi-Finals games, in which the #4 seed, Puppy Luv, squeaked by with a 1-point win against the #3 seed, Shticks. Josh was among those who scored in this playoff win for Puppy Luv, putting one shot past the Shticks goalkeeper, John D. Kirsten scored the only goal for Shticks to save them from a shutout. Puppy Luv moved on into the next round this week following their win. Shticks will have to wait for next season for another shot at the championship.
Nice For What (8-1) vs. Sexy Footballers (4-3-1) – Wednesday, October 2, 2019
No one expected this Semi-Finals games to be such a close one. Nice For What, the #2 seed just squeaked by in this 1-point game to beat the #7 seed, Sexy Footballers. This was one of two games for Sexy Footballers this week. If they had only this game, it might have been a different result, and they now sit in 7th place in the standings. Mohamad was the star player for Sexy Footballers this week. They scored all the goals for their team. Nice For What had two games this week. They won both matches and increased their total goals scored to 37. Benjamin Wallace leads Nice For What this season in scoring and added 5 goals to their stats this week bringing Benjamin Wallace’s personal total to 15, which is the highest in the league. Next up for Sexy Footballers was eliminated after this loss after showing some early promise in this round of playoffs. Nice For What had another game as they moved on to the next round in these playoffs, see how they did below!
TQL (4-4-1) vs. Velvet Taquitos (4-4) – Wednesday, October 2, 2019
Velvet Taquitos really were unable to stop anything in this one, giving up more goals than their average of 1.0 goals against per game this season. Velvet Taquitos will need to return next year for another shot at the championship. This week, TQL was fired up for a double header. This was the better played match, which helped them claim their #8 rank in the standings table. TQL moved on, see how they did in the recaps below!

Nice For What has moved on to the championship next week! Puppy Luv had two games this week. The losing team still had notable players including Mike Eggert, who scored three goals for Puppy Luv. Puppy Luv’s season has sadly ended after showing some promise in the semi-finals.
Dribbling Gerbils (8-0-1) vs. TQL (4-4-1) – Wednesday, October 2, 2019
In this Semi-Finals game, the #1 seed, Dribbling Gerbils, took on the #8 seed, TQL. This was one of two games for Dribbling Gerbils. Impressively, they won both matches helping to boost them to the #1 rank in the standings. Aaron Quinley was among those who scored in this playoff win for Dribbling Gerbils, putting two shots past the TQL goalkeeper. Dribbling Gerbils moved on in the playoffs following the win, see how they did below! This was one of two games for TQL this week. This was the tougher match of the two, and they now sit in 8th place in the standings. TQL is done for the season following this loss.

Game of Throw-ins were coming off their top offensive game of the season, scoring 4 goals last week. However, they were the lower ranked #14 seed playing the #6 seed, #SquadGoals. They would have to play their best if they wanted to advance to the next round. Game of Throw-ins had two games this week. This was the better played match, which helped them lock in their #14 rank in the standings table. The two MVPs in this close match were the goalkeeper for Game of Throw-ins, Jose Lopez, who had a shutout, and Isaac Hamlin who scored the only goal of the game. Game of Throw-ins played another game this week, see how they did below! #SquadGoals has sadly been eliminated following their loss, after a tough fight this week.
Dribbling Gerbils (8-0-1) vs. Game of Throw-ins (3-4-2) – Wednesday, October 2, 2019

Additionally, they were the higher ranked #1 seed playing the #14 seed, Game of Throw-ins. They just barely took the win to advance to Dribbling Gerbils had two games this week. They won both matches helping to boost them to the #1 rank in the standings. Aaron Quinley did all the scoring for Dribbling Gerbils in this game, including the game-winning goal. Dribbling Gerbils has earned their spot in the championship next week! This was one of two games for Game of Throw-ins this week.
