TQL (3-3) vs. Indy City FC (2-2-1) – Wednesday, September 11, 2019

TQL were amazing in this shut out against Indy City FC with a final score of 5-0. TQL really brought it, surpassing their average of 1.3 goals per game. TQL’s goalkeeper deserves a shout out for helping blank the Indy City FC’s offense. Thomas Mojica’s hattrick lead the team in scoring while Katie and Brandon scored the other two to help get the team the W. Indy City FC struggled to get it going on offense in this one, and came short of making it onto the scoreboard. Liquorpool (2-2-2) are next up on the docket for TQL, as they look to keep it going.   Next up for Indy City FC is a showdown against #SquadGoals (4-2-0), as they look to rebound.

Velvet Taquitos (3-2) vs. INDY Team #16 (1-3-1) – Wednesday, September 11, 2019

Velvet Taquitos were incredible on both sides of the pitch against INDY Team #16 with a final score of 6-0. Velvet Taquitos stepped up in this one, beating their average of 1.8 goals per game. Velvet Taquitos’s goalkeeper should receive a ton of praise for the clean sheet. Gurdeep Nagi and Nick’s two goals apiece spearheaded the club’s attack, while Selena and Jess added one goal apiece to the mix. Next up for Velvet Taquitos is a battle against Retired Broz (3-2-0). Can we kick it? beat Game of Throw-ins 3-1 in this game. This win is the second in a row for Can we kick it?, and it bumps them to 15th place in the standings. Justin lasered in two goals and earned the most tallies on the scoresheet while Colin Makofka added one to get the team to three. Game of Throw-ins really were unable to get rolling on offense in this one, scoring less than their average of 1.2 goals per game for the year. Jose Lopez scored the only goal for Game of Throw-ins to save them from a shutout. Retired Broz (3-2) vs. The Jellyshots (0-5) – Wednesday, September 11, 2019

Retired Broz were incredible on both sides of the pitch against The Jellyshots with a final score of 4-0. The Jellyshots struggled to get it going in terms of scoring in this one and suffered a shutout. Retired Broz continued their winning streak this week and are officially on fire. Frank tallied a hat trick to steer the club’s attack and Amanda Gump lasered one in to get them to four. The Jellyshots seeks to get off the schneid next week versus SCB FC (1-4-0). Next up for Retired Broz is a match-up versus Velvet Taquitos (3-2-0).

Suck My Kick (5-0) vs. Mintel Marauders (1-3-1) – Wednesday, September 11, 2019

In this match, Suck My Kick beat Mintel Marauders 7-2. Suck My Kick have consistently shown they are an attacking team. They’re averaging 4 goals per game. Elan Ness-Cohn had a hattrick while Nikita Mani had two and the combo of Shahar Sztainer and Hakim also scored two to lead their team to victory. Liquorpool and Old Town Road were really well-matched in this one and ended all tied at 3-3. Old Town Road had two games this week. Perhaps on a night they only had one game, this tie could have been a victory. In the tie, the combination of Matt Ivancic, Mark Amaratunga, and Colin Cleary scored the team’s three goals for Old Town Road. Liquorpool used their 3 goals scored in this game to boost their total goals this season to 108. Drew kicked two goals for Liquorpool to guide the club’s offense while Derek Snitker contributed with a goal as well. For Old Town Road coming up next on the docket is INDY Team #6 (0-3-2). Benjamin Wallace fired two goals and earned the most tallies on the scoresheet while Lianna Sims contributed one as well. Can we kick it? Messi Diapers really were unable to get rolling in terms of scoring in this game, scoring fewer than their average of 1.6 goals per game for the year. Lillian Chetoksy scored the only goal for Messi Diapers to prevent the shutout. Dribbling Gerbils (4-0-1) are next up on the schedule for Messi Diapers, as they look to get back on track.

Old Town Road (3-2-1) vs. KH Kicks (2-4) – Wednesday, September 11, 2019

Old Town Road and KH Kicks participated in a nail-biter up to the last minute with a final score of 3-2. KH Kicks really didn’t have their best showing on defense in this game, surrendering more goals than their average of 2.3 goals against per game this season. The losing team still had notable players including Lucas, who kicked two goals for KH Kicks. Old Town Road had two games this week.
