Dribbling Gerbils (2-0) vs. Mintel Marauders (0-1-1) – Wednesday, August 21, 2019

Dribbling Gerbils absolutely dominated this game in shut out fashion against Mintel Marauders with a final score of 5-0. Mintel Marauders were unable to get rolling on the offensive end in this one, scoring fewer than their total from their opening matchup. Dribbling Gerbils are heating up, winning both of their games so far this season. Erin Dircks and John Mcauliffe both contributed to the final score with 2 and 1 goals respectively. Elizabeth Moy and Josh Zalot each also had one goal in the game. Shout-out to goalkeeper, Christian Van Epps, for the shutout! As for Mintel Marauders they’ll move on to a match-up against Nice For What (1-1-0) as they try to come back from this one.   Dribbling Gerbils will attempt to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 3. This week Dribbling Gerbils will take on Can we kick it? (0-2-0). 

Sexy Footballers (1-0-1) vs. Liquorpool (0-2-1) – Wednesday, August 21, 2019

Sexy Footballers and Liquorpool had a draw and concluded all tied up at 4-4. Liquorpool really did everything they could on in terms of scoring in this one despite losing, beating their total from their opening game. In the tie, Josh Mullenax had two goals for Liquorpool, while Ben Ho and Bekha Bostrom each also had one goal. Sexy Footballers used their 4 goals scored in this game to boost their total goals this season to 8. Brian Raffaele and Mohamad each scored two goals for Sexy Footballers to guide the squad’s offense. For Liquorpool next on the docket is #SquadGoals (2-0-0).  Exiting week 2, Sexy Footballers looks ahead to Retired Broz (0-2-0) who are next on the docket.

#SquadGoals (2-0) vs. INDY Team #16 (0-1-1) – Wednesday, August 21, 2019

#SquadGoals beat INDY Team #16 3-1 in this game. #SquadGoals are heating up, winning both of their games so far this season. Kyle Wiemerslage, Ashley Rivera, and Nicole Zielinski each kicked one goal to guide the crew’s attack.  #SquadGoals will try to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 3. Next up is a battle with Liquorpool (0-2-1).  INDY Team #16 struggled to get it going in this game, scoring less than their total from their first game. Ryan Smith scored the only goal for INDY Team #16 to get their team on the board.  As for INDY Team #16 they will have a pairing against CannonDesign (1-1-0) as they look to bounce back.

TQL (2-1) vs. Puppy Luv (1-1) – Wednesday, August 21, 2019

TQL put on a show on both sides of the pitch against Puppy Luv with a final score of 2-0. TQL had two games this week. Both matches were victories, which means they’re officially heating up! TQL’s goalie Thomas Mojica kept their net clean.  Katie and Brendan both led their team to victory to steer the team’s offense.  Exiting week 2, TQL will look ahead to keep their early season momentum. Next up is a battle against SCB FC (0-2-0).  Puppy Luv really didn’t have their best stuff on offense in this one, netting less than their total from their opening game.  For Puppy Luv they’ll move on to a throwdown against Game of Throw-ins (1-0-1) as they attempt to come back from this one.

Indy City FC (1-0-1) vs. Nice For What (1-1) – Wednesday, August 21, 2019

Indy City FC shut out Nice For What with a final score of just 1-0. Indy City FC really brought their A game in this game, exceeding their first game point total. Drego Kutil was the hero on offense and scored their only goal. The defenders did a great job in this game by helping Juan Carvajal earn a clean sheet. Nice For What really didn’t have their best stuff in terms of scoring in this one, netting fewer than their total from their Week 1 game.  For Indy City FC, each game is a critical chance to get in a groove at the outset of the season. This week Indy City FC will go toe to toe with INDY Team #6 (0-1-1).   For Nice For What next on the docket is Mintel Marauders (0-1-1) as they look to rebound.

TQL (2-1) vs. Velvet Taquitos (1-1) – Wednesday, August 21, 2019

TQL blanked Velvet Taquitos with a final score of just 1-0. Velvet Taquitos struggled to get it going on offense in this game, scoring less than their total from their Week 1 contest. TQL had a double header this week. Incredibly, they won both matches, which means they’re officially heating up! Thomas Mojica led his team to victory with a goal and his defense. He’s the club’s goalie and deserves much of the credit after earning a shutout.  For Velvet Taquitos next on the calendar is Shticks (2-0-0) as they try to come back from this one.   Exiting week 2, TQL will look ahead to keep their early season momentum. Next up is a throwdown with SCB FC (0-2-0). 

CannonDesign (1-1) vs. INDY Team #6 (0-1-1) – Wednesday, August 21, 2019

CannonDesign absolutely dominated this game in shut out fashion against INDY Team #6 with a final score of 6-0. INDY Team #6 really struggled to get it going on offense in this game, netting fewer than their total from their Week 1 contest.  As for INDY Team #6 they’ll move on to a game against Indy City FC (1-0-1) as they strive to rebound. CannonDesign really brought it in this game, topping their first game point total. Tomas Cantu-Martinez scored a hat trick to help get the squad the win. Mauch had two goals and Johnson had one to get the team to the winning score of six.  For CannonDesign, every week is a big game to grab wins early on. Next up is a showdown against INDY Team #16 (0-1-1). 

Shticks (2-0) vs. SCB FC (0-2) – Wednesday, August 21, 2019

Shticks were amazing in this shut out against SCB FC with a final score of 6-0. Shticks are heating up, winning both of their games so far this season. Kevin and Dennis both contributed to the final score with 2 and 1 goals respectively. Mikey, Rachel, and Kirsten each also contributed a goal in the game. The club’s goalie, John D, made sure SCB FC would not score. SCB FC didn’t have their best game on defense in this game, giving up more goals than their opening match.  Exiting week 2, Shticks will look ahead to keep their early season momentum. Next up is a showdown against Velvet Taquitos (1-1-0).   As for SCB FC they’ll move on to a date with TQL (2-1-0) as they try to rebound.

Game of Throw-ins (1-0-1) vs. Old Town Road (0-2) – Wednesday, August 21, 2019

In this match, Game of Throw-ins beat Old Town Road 3-1. Game of Throw-ins really showed up in this one, beating their opening game point total. Jose Lopez, Scott Mason, and Doran Theriault each kicked one goal to provide the scoring for the team.  This week Game of Throw-ins will compete with Puppy Luv (1-1-0), as they look to keep up the momentum.  These guys brought their best defensively despite the loss, allowing fewer goals than they surrendered in their opening game.  Thought they lost, Old Town Road still had scoring from Colin Cleary. They will have a pairing against Messi Diapers (1-0-1) as they attempt to bounce back.

Suck My Kick (2-0) vs. The Jellyshots (0-2) – Wednesday, August 21, 2019

In this match, Suck My Kick beat The Jellyshots 5-2. Suck My Kick are heating up, winning both of their games so far this season. Steven Pruim had two goals while Elan Ness-Cohn, Nikita Mani, and Jimmy each scored one to lead their team to victory and steer the squad’s attack.  Suck My Kick will try to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 3. This week Suck My Kick will line-up against KH Kicks (2-0-0).  In spite of losing, The Jellyshots played their A game on the offensive end in this one, exceeding their total from their Week 1 game. Their two goals came from Maxwell MacCready. As for The Jellyshots next on the schedule is #SquadGoals (2-0-0) as they try to bounce back.

Messi Diapers (1-0-1) vs. Can we kick it? (0-2) – Wednesday, August 21, 2019

Messi Diapers played well here and blanked Can we kick it? with a final score of 2-0. Can we kick it? struggled to get it going in this one, netting less than their total from their first game. Messi Diapers really stepped up, beating their opening game point total. Messi Diapers’s goalie Nathan Covey earned a shutout in this one. Corynne Griffith and Lillian Chetoksy both scored one goal to help gain the team the win.  For Can we kick it? next up is a battle with Dribbling Gerbils (2-0-0) as they try to rebound. For Messi Diapers, each game is a crucial chance for them to gather wins early on. This week Messi Diapers will play Old Town Road (0-2-0). 

KH Kicks (2-0) vs. Retired Broz (0-2) – Wednesday, August 21, 2019

KH Kicks and Retired Broz played a close one up to the last minute with a final score of 3-2. Retired Broz really gave everything they had on offense despite the loss, besting their total from their opening matchup. The losing team still had notable players including Natalie D’Agostino and Taylor Tenca, who had one goal for Retired Broz.  For Retired Broz next on the schedule is Sexy Footballers (1-0-1) as they attempt to bounce back. KH Kicks are heating up, winning both of their games so far this season. Lucas scored two goals and Cindy one to help get the team the W.  KH Kicks will try to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 3. Next up is a throwdown with Suck My Kick (2-0-0).
