Summer 2019 Tuesday Diversey Men’s Int-Comp Flag Football – Week 2

Hard Count Heyne’s (2-0) v. INDY Team #5 (0-2) – Tuesday, June 18, and 2019

Hard Count Heyne’s shut out INDY Team #5.   They really stepped up on D in this game, allowing fewer points than they gave up in their opening game. QBs Zack Smith and Danny passed for a total of two scores, which was caught by Danny and Zack Smith respectively. The team also scored twice on defense.  INDY Team #5 really were unable to get rolling in this one, scoring less than their total from their Week 1 game.  Money Team are next on the schedule for Hard Count Heyne’s. Savaj are next on the docket for INDY Team #5.  

Beefcakes (2-1) v. Shake ‘N Bake (0-2) – Tuesday, June 18, and 2019

Beefcakes destroyed Shake ‘N Bake. The final score of 30-6 reflects the hard work Beefcakes put into every minute of the game.  Beefcakes may want to turn things around on offense if they want to keep this up, as they are the lowest-scoring team in the league early on for the season. QB Paul passed three TDs, passing to Andrew Apel for two of them, Mike Kraft for one, and rushed in one on his own. Even with this loss, Shake ‘N Bake are one of the higher scoring teams in the league this year, averaging 10.00 points per game. For Shake ‘N Bake, in the loss, QB Ben hit Julian Pierce for one touchdown and ran in one other.  For Beefcakes, each contest is a big opportunity for them to gather wins early on. This week Beefcakes will compete with Savaj. Next up for Shake ‘N Bake is a contest with Hard Count Heyne’s.

Money Team forfeited to Savaj. Next up is a matchup against Beefcakes for Savaj.   For Money Team they will have a pairing against Hard Count Heyne’s as they strive to get to the win column.
