Larry’s V2.0 (4-4-1) vs. INDY Team #4 (0-8) – Thursday, October 03, 2019

Grabbing the same result as they did earlier in the year, Larry’s V2.0 won the rematch against INDY Team #4. This game finished with a final score of 5-2. INDY Team #4 really struggled to stop anything in this one, surrendering more goals than their average of 3.8 goals against per game this year. Rafael Bergerman was the star player for INDY Team #4 this week. They scored all two goals for them. This was one of two games for Larry’s V2.0. This was the better played match, which helped them claim their #4 rank in the standings table. James S fired two goals to lead the crew’s attack.

Fat Cat (5-0-4) vs. Larry’s V2.0 (4-4-1) – Thursday, October 03, 2019

Earlier in the season, these teams tied, but Fat Cat grabbed a 2-1 win against Larry’s V2.0 in this rematch. This win is the second in a row for Fat Cat, and it bumps them to 1st place in the standings. Clint Ulrich scored two goals to help get the group the victory. This was one of two games for Larry’s V2.0. Sometimes double headers help you get in a groove, other times they lead to tired legs, but instead they ended up widening their goal differential gap to 98. Joe Rashid scored the only goal for Larry’s V2.0 to prevent the shutout.

Cheeky Monkey (4-2-2) vs. It’s A Llama (4-3-1) – Thursday, October 03, 2019

As they did earlier in the year, Cheeky Monkey won the rematch against It’s A Llama. This game finished with a final score of 2-0. Cheeky Monkey showed some fight in this matchup, emerging victorious, despite scoring less than their average goals per game of 2.4.  Tom Ostrander kicked one goal. The team’s goalie, Kawi, got a shutout in this one. It’s A Llama struggled to get it going on offense in this game and couldn’t seem to find the back of the net.
