Karen Liu was the star player for Flop Shop this week. They scored the only goal for them. For Flop Shop next up is 2 Goals, 1 Cup (0-4-1). Conversant used their 1 goal scored in this game to boost their total goals this season to 6. Kelly Sharpe scored the team’s only goal, saving their team from defeat. Indy 3 and Team Awesome competed in a low scoring affair, combining for three goals. Indy 3 took home the 2-1 victory. In the loss, Michael Nearpass scored the lone goal. This is Team Awesome’s first loss of the season. LPSE (2-2-1) is next up on the schedule for Team Awesome, as they attempt to rebound. They feared they might go through the whole season without a win but Fight or Flight defeated Wasted Talent 5-4 in this week 5 match-up. Fight or Flight showed up in this game, besting their average of 1.6 goals per game. Mat scored two goals to help earn the squad the win. Avocado Discoballs (4-1) vs. 2 Goals, 1 Cup (0-4-1) – Monday, September 16, 2019

Avocado Discoballs put on a show on both sides of the pitch against 2 Goals, 1 Cup with a final score of 2-0. Avocado Discoballs really stepped up on the defensive end, beating their season goals against average of 0.8 goals per game. Mandy Paleczny and Chris Mueller both kicked one goal. They feared they might go through the whole season without a win, but INDY Team #2 defeated LPSE 5-2 in this week 5 match-up. LPSE struggled to stop anything in this one, giving up more goals than their average of 2.0 goals against per game this year. The losing team still had notable players including Ariana Gonzalez and Jake Nardulli, who each had one goal for LPSE. Next up for LPSE is a match-up against Team Awesome (2-1-2), as they attempt to bounce back. INDY Team #2 brought it, besting their average of 1.8 goals per game. Jane Zunamon, Niklas Tschantz, Emily Christian, John Spence, and Frank Nikolla each scored one goal to guide the team’s attack. Balls Deep (4-0-1) vs. Briefcase FC (2-3) – Monday, September 16, 2019

Balls Deep absolutely dominated this game in shut out fashion against Briefcase FC with a final score of 5-0. They’re on fire! Josh Mah scored a hat trick to help gain the team the win. The other two goals came from the combo of Krystina Lordanou and Andrew Rottenberg. Briefcase FC struggled to get it going on the offensive end in this one, but they’ve had 4 overall goals this season. Next week, Balls Deep will attempt to remain unbeaten with a match-up against GT Soccer (5-0-0).   Next up for Briefcase FC is a match-up against INDY Team #18 (1-3-1), as they look to get back on track.

Net Six and Chill (5-0) vs. Panthers fc (0-4-1) – Monday, September 16, 2019

Net Six and Chill were incredible on both sides of the pitch against Panthers fc with a final score of 6-0. Panthers fc didn’t have their best stuff on offense in this one, and couldn’t seem to find the back of the net. Net Six and Chill are playing an incredible offensive season. They’re averaging 4 goals per game. Vinny scored a hat trick to guide the team’s attack, while the team of Tina, John, and Mike Horan scored the other three goals. Next game, Panthers fc takes on Cat Facts FC (1-2-2) in an attempt to get their first win. On Monday, Net Six and Chill face off against Wasted Talent (3-2-0) in an attempt to remain perfect.
