GT Soccer (3-0) vs. INDY Team #18 (0-3) – Monday, August 26, 2019

GT Soccer blanked INDY Team #18 with a final score of just 1-0. GT Soccer continued their winning streak this week and are officially on fire. David prevented the team’s loss by scoring their only goal. The club’s goalie, Michael H, made sure INDY Team #18 would not score. INDY Team #18 struggled to get it going in terms of scoring in this game, but they’ve had 0 overall goals this season. Next week, GT Soccer battle against Flop Shop (0-3-0) in an attempt to stay unblemished.   Next week, INDY Team #18 battles against 2 Goals, 1 Cup (0-2-1) in an attempt to get on the board with a win.  

Wasted Talent (2-1) vs. Cat Facts FC (0-1-2) – Monday, August 26, 2019

In this match, Wasted Talent beat Cat Facts FC 4-1. This is Cat Facts FC’s first loss of the season. Sam scored the only goal for Cat Facts FC to save them from a shutout.  Cat Facts FC looks to get off the schneid next Monday with a match-up versus INDY Team #2 (0-2-1).   led his team to victory to help gain the group the W. The Invincible Super Winners (2-1-0) are next up on the docket for Wasted Talent, as they look to keep it going. 

Grass Kickers (1-1-1) vs. INDY Team #10 (2-1) – Monday, August 26, 2019

Earning their first win of the season, Grass Kickers beat INDY Team #10 4-0.  Next up for INDY Team #10 is a showdown against Briefcase FC (2-1-0), as they look to rebound. Grass Kickers really showed up, surpassing their average of 1.7 goals per game.  Dave Udijohn kicked two goals. Shout-out to keeper, Bobby Glasgow, for the shutout! Next up for Grass Kickers is a date against ESPN The Ocho (3-0-0). 

Winded City FC (1-2) vs. Fight or Flight (0-2-1) – Monday, August 26, 2019

Going into this game, both teams were hungry for their first win of the season. Finally breaking their losing streak, Winded City FC snagged a win against Fight or Flight with a final score of 2-0. Fight or Flight struggled to get it going on offense in this game and came short of making it onto the scoreboard.  On Monday, Fight or Flight takes on Panthers fc (0-3-0) in an attempt to get their first win. Winded City FC really stepped up, surpassing their average of 1.0 goals per game.  Winded City FC’s goalkeeper kept their net clean.  Andy Malnor and his two goals led his team to victory to lead the club’s offense. Team Awesome (2-0-1) are next up on the schedule for Winded City FC, as they look to keep it going. 

ESPN The Ocho (3-0) vs. 2 Goals, 1 Cup (0-2-1) – Monday, August 26, 2019

ESPN The Ocho beat 2 Goals, 1 Cup 3-1 in this game. Winning all of their games so far this season, ESPN The Ocho seem to be the team to try to beat. Ryan Teich, Ben Rosenkranz, and Brad Sherrill each lasered in one goal to help gain the squad the win. 2 Goals, 1 Cup struggled to stop anything on D in this one, allowing more goals than their average of 2.0 goals against per game this year. Dominic Perrone scored the only goal for 2 Goals, 1 Cup to save them from a shutout. Next week, ESPN The Ocho will try to remain undefeated with a throwdown against Grass Kickers (1-1-1).   2 Goals, 1 Cup tries to put a 1 in the win column next week with a match-up versus INDY Team #18 (0-3-0).

Team Awesome (2-0-1) vs. INDY Team #2 (0-2-1) – Monday, August 26, 2019

Team Awesome and INDY Team #2 competed in a Game where the defenses dominated, totaling three goals. Team Awesome took home the 2-1 victory.  Jake Lux scored the only goal for INDY Team #2 to get their team on the board. Let’s start with Simon of Team Awesome who now has the most goals in the league with 5 goals after two this week. On Monday, INDY Team #2 will attempt to get on the board with a win versus Cat Facts FC (0-1-2).  On Monday, Team Awesome will attempt to remain perfect with a Game against Winded City FC (1-2-0). 

Balls Deep (2-0-1) vs. Aguacates FC (1-2) – Monday, August 26, 2019

Balls Deep were amazing in this shut out against Aguacates FC with a final score of 5-0. Balls Deep really brought it, topping their average of 2.3 goals per game.  Andrew Lively racked up a hat trick to spearhead the squad’s attack while Krystina Lordanou and Josh Mah both had one to get the team to five. On Monday, Balls Deep will try to stay perfect with a contest against Conversant (0-2-1).  Aguacates FC were unable to get rolling in terms of scoring in this one, and failed to make it onto the scoreboard.  Next up for Aguacates FC is a battle versus Avocado Discoballs (2-1-0), as they look to get back into the winner’s circle.

Net Six and Chill (3-0) vs. Indy 3 (1-1-1) – Monday, August 26, 2019

Net Six and Chill beat Indy 3 4-1 in this game. This is Indy 3’s first loss of the season. Mike scored the only goal for Indy 3 to get their team on the board. Net Six and Chill continued their winning streak this week and are officially on fire. Ryan tallied a hat trick to help earn the team the W and Megan scored one in the game.  Next up for Indy 3 is a match-up against LPSE (1-1-1), as they attempt to rebound.  Net Six and Chill will attempt to remain undefeated next week with a pairing against Soccer Hotties (2-0-1). 

Briefcase FC (2-1) vs. Flop Shop (0-3) – Monday, August 26, 2019

Briefcase FC blanked Flop Shop with a final score of just 1-0. Briefcase FC brought their A game on defense in this game, beating their season goals against average of 0.7 goals per game.  Leading the club’s offense, Glenda Lopez scored their only goal.  Shout-out to goalkeeper, Eric Alt, for the shutout!INDY Team #10 (2-1-0) are next up on the docket for Briefcase FC, as they look to keep it going.  Flop Shop struggled to get it going on offense in this game and failed to make it onto the scoreboard.  Next week, Flop Shop will try to put a 1 in the win column with a match-up against GT Soccer (3-0-0).

The Invincible Super Winners (2-1) vs. Panthers fc (0-3) – Monday, August 26, 2019

The Invincible Super Winners beat Panthers fc 3-1 in this game. The Invincible Super Winners are heating up with two wins in a row. The three headed monster of Ryan Smith, Jasmin Figueroa, and Brad Corirossi led this team to victory to help earn the club the victory. Next up for The Invincible Super Winners is a showdown versus Wasted Talent (2-1-0).   Shon scored the only goal for Panthers fc to save them from a shutout.  Next Monday, Panthers fc will try to get their first win versus Fight or Flight (0-2-1).

Avocado Discoballs (2-1) vs. Conversant (0-2-1) – Monday, August 26, 2019

Avocado Discoballs beat Conversant 4-2 in this game. This is the second week in a row Avocado Discoballs took home the win. Jon Steinberg, Niki Lueck, Chris Mueller, and Erik Gleaves each fired one goal to help get the team the win. Aguacates FC (1-2-0) are next up on the schedule for Avocado Discoballs, as they look to keep it going.  Conversant were unable to stop anything on defense in this game, allowing more goals than their average of 2.3 GAPG for the year. The losing team still had notable players including Edgar Padilla and Jose C, who scored one goal for Conversant.  Next game, Conversant will try to get off the schneid with a match-up against Balls Deep (2-0-1).

Soccer Hotties (2-0-1) vs. LPSE (1-1-1) – Monday, August 26, 2019

Soccer Hotties and LPSE were very evenly matched in this match-up and concluded all tied up at 2-2. This is LPSE’s first tie this season and they’re currently sitting in 12th place in the standings. In the tie, Peter tallied one goal for LPSE.  For LPSE they will face off with Indy 3 (1-1-1). Soccer Hotties used their 2 goals scored in this game to boost their total goals this season to 10.   Andrey and Alex led their team to victory with their two combined goals. Exiting week 3, Soccer Hotties looks ahead to Net Six and Chill (3-0-0) who are next on the schedule.
