Spring 2019 Tuesday Montrose Turf 8v8 Soccer – Week 8

JLL Soccer (3-3) vs. 2 Goals 1 Cup (1-5) – Tuesday, June 4, 2019

In this Last Week of Season game, JLL Soccer took on 2 Goals 1 Cup and defeated them in a close game 3-2. It was such a close match that came down to one goal. Oscar Gonzalez and Eduardo Mendoza scored the goals for 2 Goals 1 Cup to keep it close, but they were outmatched by JLL Soccer’s three goals from Michael Alpern, Kyle Overby, and Wojtek Kowlczyk. 2 Goals 1 Cup will get the chance at the playoffs and will play in the play-in round of the first round of playoffs. JLL Soccer moves onto the playoffs next week in the first round of postseason play.

Yeoville (5-1) vs. FC Hiscox (1-5) – Tuesday, June 4, 2019

FC Hiscox forfeited to Yeoville. The forfeit puts FC Hiscox in ninth place in the standings table.  FC Hiscox moves on to the play-in game in the first round of the playoffs. Yeoville stays alive and continues on to the first round of playoffs.

INDY Team #6 (2-3-1) vs. Daddy FC (2-3-1) – Tuesday, June 4, 2019

It was an exciting Last Week of Season games, in which INDY Team #6 squeaked by with a 1-point win against Daddy FC 3-2. Daddy FC really didn’t have their best showing in this one, allowing more goals than their average of 2.3 goals against per game this season. The losing team still had notable players including John Kotsiantos and Daniel, who kicked one goal each for Daddy FC. For the victors, their scoring came from the combined trifecta of Stewart Henzi, Joe Blaylock, and Pratap Jayaram Next up for Daddy FC is a play-in game for the playoffs.  INDY Team #6 will play the winner of a play-in game next week.
