High School Heroes (3-2-1) vs. Spoons FC (3-1-1) – Sunday, June 02, 2019

High School Heroes and Spoons FC competed in a Game where the defenses dominated, totaling three goals. High School Heroes took home the 2-1 victory. Scoring for High School Heroes was the duo of David Glazer and Ben Russ. This is Spoons FC’s first loss of the season. Josh Wren scored the only goal for Spoons FC to prevent the shutout.

Burton Birdwatchers (4-1-1) vs. Game of Throw-Ins (1-5) – Sunday, June 02, 2019

Earlier in the season, these teams tied, but Burton Birdwatchers grabbed a 4-2 win against Game of Throw-Ins in this rematch.  The losing team still had notable players including Ryan Hutton, who scored one goal for Game of Throw-Ins. The great display on offense by Burton Birdwatches came from two goals from Paul Boehme and one each from Thomas McBride and David Ghorbanpoor.

Chicago Chubs (3-3) vs. This Will Get Messi (1-3-2) – Sunday, June 02, 2019

Chicago Chubs were incredible on both sides of the pitch against This Will Get Messi with a final score of 5-0.  The team took home this resounding victory behind scoring from Samantha Frank with two goals and one goal each from Peter Beer, Benjamin Lussier, and Curtis Wiese. This Will Get Messi didn’t have their best stuff in this one, and couldn’t seem to find the back of the net.
