 Spoons FC (3-0-1) vs. Game of Throw-Ins (1-4) – Sunday, May 19, 2019

Spoons FC shut out Game of Throw-Ins with a final score of just 1-0. Scoring for Spoons FC was Greg Berns-Leone.  Sadly, Game of Throw-Ins was unable to score and will mourn the loss of the game as well as the season finale of Game of Thrones. Burton Birdwatchers are next up on the calendar for Game of Throw-Ins, as they look to get back on track.  Next Sunday, Spoons FC seeks to stay undefeated with a game against High School Heroes next week.

This Will Get Messi (1-2-2) vs. Burton Birdwatchers (3-1-1) – Sunday, May 19, 2019

Earning their first win of the season, This Will Get Messi beat Burton Birdwatchers 2-1. This is Burton Birdwatchers’s first loss of the season. Thomas Mcbride scored the only goal for Burton Birdwatchers to save them from a shutout, while Dani Ben-Reuven had two for This Will Get Messi.  Next up for Burton Birdwatchers is a match-up against Game of Throw-Ins, as they attempt to rebound.  Next up for This Will Get Messi is a date versus Chicago Chubs.

Chicago Chubs (2-3) vs. High School Heroes (2-2-1) – Sunday, May 19, 2019

Earlier in the season, these teams tied, but Chicago Chubs grabbed a 1-0 win against High School Heroes in this rematch.  Scoring for the victors was Brad Collins. This Will Get Messi are next up on the docket for Chicago Chubs, as they look to keep it going.  High School Heroes struggled to get it going in this one and failed to make it onto the scoreboard against the strong defense of Chicago Chubs.  Spoons FC is next up on the docket for High School Heroes, as they attempt to bounce back from this week’s tough loss.
