Spoons FC (2-0-1) vs. Chicago Chubs (1-3) – Sunday, May 12, 2019

Spoons FC put on a show on both sides of the pitch against Chicago Chubs with a final score of 2-0.  Josh Wren led the way for Spoons FC scoring both goals in the shutout win.  Chicago Chubs were unable to get rolling on offense in this game and suffered a shutout.  Next up for Chicago Chubs is a showdown versus High School Heroes (2-1-1), as they try to bounce back.  Next week, Spoons FC will attempt to remain undefeated with a battle versus Game of Throw-Ins (1-3-0).

 

Game of Throw-Ins (1-3) vs. This Will Get Messi (0-2-2) – Sunday, May 12, 2019

This Will Get Messi forfeited to Game of Throw-Ins in this match-up. The forfeit puts This Will Get Messi in fourth place in the standings table.  Next Sunday, This Will Get Messi will try to get their first win with a match-up versus Burton Birdwatchers (3-0-1).  Spoons FC (2-0-1) are next up on the schedule for Game of Throw-Ins, as they look to keep it going.

 

Burton Birdwatchers (3-0-1) vs. High School Heroes (2-1-1) – Sunday, May 12, 2019

Burton Birdwatchers and High School Heroes took part a close one up to the last minute with a final score of 4-3.  Al Galindez led the charge with two goals while paul Boehme and Thomas Mcbride each added a goal of their own.  This is High School Heroes’s first loss of the season. They still had notable players including Erin Dircks, Charles Dotson, and Austin Delsi who each kicked one goal for High School Heroes.  Burton Birdwatchers will seek to remain unbeaten next Sunday with a throwdown against This Will Get Messi (0-2-2).   Chicago Chubs (1-3-0) is next up on the calendar for High School Heroes, as they look to get back on track.
