Netkicks and Chill (2-4) vs. Net Six and Chill (0-4-2) – Sunday, August 4, 2019

In this match, Netkicks and Chill beat Net Six and Chill 4-2. Net Six and Chill really were unable to put up much of a defense in this game, allowing more goals than their average of 2.7 goals against per game this season. The losing team still had notable players including Ian, who had one goal for Net Six and Chill.  Next Sunday, Net Six and Chill battles against Burn Early in an attempt to get their first win. This win is the second in a row for Netkicks and Chill, and it bumps them to 9th place in the standings. Phil kicked two goals to help gain the squad the W.  For Fuchs Sake are next up on the docket for Netkicks and Chill, as they look to keep it going.   

Red Ryans (3-3) vs. INDY Team #10 (1-5) – Sunday, August 4, 2019

Red Ryans played well here and blanked INDY Team #10 with a final score of 2-0. INDY Team #10 struggled to get it going on the offensive end in this one, and came short of making it onto the scoreboard.   The Benders are next up on the calendar for INDY Team #10, as they look to get into the winner’s circle. Red Ryans stepped up in this one, surpassing their average of 1.2 goals per game.  Mat R fired all two goals to steer the team’s attack. Shout-out to goalie, Sany Nguyen, for the shutout! Next up for Red Ryans is a showdown versus Might be Messi. 

Burn Early (4-2) vs. Si Se Puede! (1-5) – Sunday, August 4, 2019

Burn Early beat Si Se Puede! 3-1 in this game. Burn Early seems to have found their groove and has won two games in a row. Alex scored two goals to guide the club’s offense. Si Se Puede! have had a rough season. It’s week 6 and they’ve only scored a total of 5 goals. Michael scored the only goal for Si Se Puede! to save them from a shutout. Next up for Burn Early is a match-up versus Net Six and Chill. Atletico is next up on the calendar for Si Se Puede!, as they try to bounce back.

The Benders (4-2) vs. For Fuchs Sake (3-3) – Sunday, August 4, 2019

The Benders controlled this game in shut out fashion against For Fuchs Sake with a final score of 3-0.  Christopher Nguyen made one goal. The defense are the unsung heroes of this match for helping Jim  earn a clean sheet. For Fuchs Sake were unable to get rolling on offense in this game, and came short of making it onto the scoreboard. Next up for The Benders is a battle against INDY Team #10.  Netikicks and Chill are next up on the docket for For Fuchs Sake, as they attempt to rebound.

Chicago Chubs (5-0-1) vs. Indy Team #2 (3-2-1) – Sunday, August 4, 2019

Indy Team #2 forfeited and handed a free win to Chicago Chubs for this game. This week, Chicago Chubs came ready for a double header. Incredibly, they won both matches, which means they’re heating up! On Sunday, Chicago Chubs take on the winner of Might Be Messi and Red Ryans in an attempt to stay unblemished.  Indy Team #2 forfeit this week’s match-up. Next up for Indy Team #2 is a match-up against Belvedere Trading, as they attempt to bounce back.

Belvedere Trading (1-4-1) vs. Toe Ballers (5-0-1) – Sunday, August 4, 2019

Earning their first win of the season, Belvedere Trading beat Toe Ballers 2-2. Belvedere Trading had a double header this week. Considering the back to back games and the difference in rankings between them and their opponent, a tie was an impressive result. Finnian Bunta scored one goal to help earn the squad the victory. This is Toe Ballers’s first tie this season and they’re currently sitting in first place in the standings. In the tie, Micah  put in one goal for Toe Ballers. Exiting week 6, Belvedere Trading will look ahead to Indy Team #2 who are next on the schedule.  For Toe Ballers coming up next on the docket is a match against the winner of Netkicks and Chill and For Fuchs Sake.

Chicago Chubs (5-0-1) vs. Belvedere Trading (1-4-1) – Sunday, August 4, 2019

In this match, Chicago Chubs beat Belvedere Trading 4-1. This week, Chicago Chubs was fired up for a double header. Both matches were victories, which means they’re officially heating up!  led his team to victory to help get the team the W. Chicago Chubs will seek to remain undefeated next week with a pairing against the winner of Might Be Messi and Red Ryans.  This was one of two games for Belvedere Trading this week. This was the tougher match of the two, and they now sit in 11th place in the standings. Finnian Bunta scored the only goal for Belvedere Trading to prevent the shutout.   Indy Team #2 are next up on the docket for Belvedere Trading, as they look to rebound.

Atletico WB (5-1) vs. Might Be Messi (2-4) – Sunday, August 4, 2019

Atletico WB beat Might Be Messi 6-2 in this game. Atletico WB continued their winning streak this week and are officially on fire. Luke M racked up a hat trick to steer the squad’s offense. Si Se Puede! are next up on the docket for Atletico WB, as they look to keep it going.  Might Be Messi struggled to get it going on offense in this game, scoring less than their average of 2.3 goals per game this season. The losing team still had notable players including Joel Nightingale, who had one goal for Might Be Messi.  Next up for Might Be Messi is a battle against Red Ryans, as they attempt to bounce back.
