Belvedere Trading (1-4) vs. Might Be Messi (2-3) – Sunday, July 28, 2019

They feared they might go through the whole season without a win, but Belvedere Trading defeated Might Be Messi 9-4 in this week 5 match-up. Belvedere Trading really stepped up, topping their average of 2.6 goals per game.  Finnian Bunta and Charlotte J both scored a hat trick to help get the squad the W.  Ian scored two and Samir scored one to round out the scoring. Ryan Lindquist scored a hat trick to help earn the team the W while Marc Recca scored. Trevor Kanwal scored the only goal for The Benders to prevent the shutout. Toe Ballers (5-0) vs. INDY Team #10 (1-4) – Sunday, July 28, 2019

In this match, Toe Ballers beat INDY Team #10 6-2. Toe Ballers are having an incredible offensive season. They’re averaging 5 goals per game. Christian tallied a hat trick to help gain the club the W while Case, Chris and Jason scored the other three. Toe Ballers will seek to remain unblemished next week with a date against Belvedere Trading (1-4-0).  INDY Team #10 really were unable to stop much on the defensive end in this game, allowing more goals than their average of 4.6 goals against per game for the year. Chicago Chubs shut out Red Ryans with a final score of just 1-0. Chicago Chubs continue to show they are a team that is good at scoring. They’re averaging 3 goals per game. Scott Nelson prevented the team’s loss by scoring their only goal. The defenders did a great job in this game by helping Craig Herdle earn a shut out. Atletico WB were incredible on both sides of the pitch against Net Six and Chill with a final score of 5-0. Atletico WB had two games this week. Incredibly, they won both matches, which means they’re officially heating up! Caroline Dreher and Luke M netted two goals while Kale scored the fifth. Shout-out to keeper, Kale, for the shutout! Next up for Atletico WB is a throwdown versus Might Be Messi (2-3-0).  Net Six and Chill didn’t have their best stuff on offense in this one, and failed to make it onto the scoreboard.  On Sunday, Net Six and Chill seeks to put a 1 in the win column with a match-up against Netkicks and Chill (1-4-0).

Atletico WB (4-1) vs. Si Se Puede! (1-4) – Sunday, July 28, 2019

In this match, Atletico WB beat Si Se Puede! 11-2. Atletico WB had a double header. They won both matches, which means they’re officially heating up! Caroline Dreher, Brandon Medina, Kale, and Evan all scored two goals to help get the team the victory. The top scorer for the team was Luke M with a hat trick. This was one of two games for Si Se Puede! this week. Both matches were losses dropping them to the #10 rank in the standings. Indy Team #2 (3-1-1) vs. For Fuchs Sake (3-2) – Sunday, July 28, 2019

Indy Team #2 controlled this game in shut out fashion against For Fuchs Sake with a final score of 3-0. This is the second week in a row Indy Team #2 took home the win. Zbigniew Stanek had two goals while Max Levine scored one. Their goalie, William Erlain, got a clean sheet in this one. For Fuchs Sake struggled to get it going in this game, and couldn’t seem to find the back of the net.
