The forfeit puts FC Hokies in seventh place in the standings. The loss for FC Hokies leaves them as the #7 seed heading into playoffs.

Peaked in High School beat Cat Facts FC 2-1 in this week’s match. Cat Facts FC really struggled to get it going in this one, scoring less than their average of 1.5 goals per game for the year. Yilmaz Kulahoglu scored the only goal for Cat Facts FC to save them from a shutout. The loss dropped Cat Facts FC down to the 4th place. Peaked in High School finished the regular season in 1st place after goals from Willie Filion and Mackenzie W. They have a bye next week and will play the following week.
Excelarators (2-4) vs. Jimmy Savile’s U10s (3-2-1) – Saturday, May 18, 2019
Excelarators put on a show on both sides of the pitch against Jimmy Savile’s U10s with a final score of 2-0. Jimmy Savile’s U10s didn’t have their best stuff on the offensive end in this game and came short of making it onto the scoreboard. Excelarators finished the regular season in 6th place. For the team, Timothy O’Hara and David Neher both scored a goal to deliver the team a win. Despite the loss this week, Jimmy Savile’s U10s locked in their spot at 3rd place for the season.

Chicago Cougars were amazing in this shut out against INDY Team #7 with a final score of 4-0. INDY Team #7 didn’t have their best stuff in terms of scoring in this one and failed to score against their opponent’s tough defense. The loss for INDY Team #7 leaves them in 8th place heading into playoffs. Chicago Cougars finished the regular season in 4th place earning a bye week. In the win, Issa, Canary, Sergio, and Amy Kappelman each scored a goal, demonstrating the teams offensive prowess.
