Spring 2019 Sat Lincoln Park Turf Coed Rec Flag Football – Week 6

CTB Immortals (4-2) v. Flags & Flasks (5-2) – Saturday, August 10, and 2019

CTB Immortals were coming off their top offensive game of the season, scoring 51 points last week. However, they were the lower ranked #3 seed playing the #2 seed, Flags & Flasks. They would have to play their best if they wanted to advance to the next round. With a final score of 38-6, CTB Immortals hope to keep their momentum going as they advance in playoffs.  CTB Immortals are the highest-scoring team in the league this season, averaging 35.0 points per game. QB Joe passed five touchdowns, finding Alejandro Munoz for three of them. CTB Immortals will play The Team f/k/a Indy Team #4 in the first round of the playoffs.  Next up for Flags & Flasks will play the winner of those two in the playoffs next week.

Midway Monstars (5-0) v. CTB Immortals (4-2) – Saturday, August 10, and 2019

Heading into this Last Week of Season games, CTB Immortals were coming off their top offensive game of the season, scoring 51 points last week. Additionally, they were the higher ranked #1 seed playing the #3 seed, CTB Immortals. The final score of 25-12 reflects the hard work Midway Monstars put into every minute of the game.  Midway Monstars really buckled down in this one, emerging victorious, despite scoring less than their average points per game of 31.60. QB Jamonti Robinson delivered two scores, with Dj on the receiving end of most of them.  For CTB Immortals, QB Joe hit Bobbie for two touchdowns. Next up for Midway Monstars is a match against the winner of INDY Team #2 and Wet Lettuce.  Next up for CTB Immortals is a match against The Team f/k/a Indy Team #4.

Midway Monstars (5-0) v. Wet Lettuce (2-4) – Saturday, August 10, and 2019

Midway Monstars, the #1 seed, took on Wet Lettuce, the #4 seed, in this Last Week of Season game.  With a final score of 31-6, Midway Monstars remain undefeated.  They really brought their A game on the defensive end in this game, beating their season points against average of 10.4 points per game. QB Jamonti Robinson delivered two TDs, finding Dj for most of them.  For Wet Lettuce, QB Adam hit Justin   for one touchdown. Wet Lettuce plays INDY Team #2 in the first round of playoffs next week. Next up for Midway Monstars is a match against the winner of these two.   

INDY Team #2 (2-4) v. The Team f/k/a Indy Team #4 (1-5) – Saturday, August 10, and 2019

INDY Team #2 was the higher ranked #4 seed playing the #7 seed, The Team f/k/a Indy Team #4 in this week’s matchup. They confidently took the win to advance to INDY Team #2 put 39 on the board and held The Team f/k/a Indy Team #4 to 15 points.  This team really brought their A game on the defensive end in this one, beating their season points against average of 43.2 points per game. QB Carley Callans threw four scores, hitting Sub for three of them.  In the loss for The Team f/k/a Indy Team #4, QB Will Cooper hit Virginia Liang for one touchdown and rushed for one. Next up for INDY Team #2 is a first round playoff against Wet Lettuce.  Next up for The Team f/k/a Indy Team #4 is a game against CTB Immortals in the playoffs.
