Avocado Discoballs (1-1) vs. Team Chicago 1 (1-1) – Monday, April 08, 2019

Earning their first win of the season, Avocado Discoballs beat Team Chicago 1 3-2.  John Nguyen, Igor, and Dani each scored one goal for Avacado Discoballs.  While Alex Rohder and Thomas Mojica each scored one goal for Team Chicago 1.  Next up for Team Chicago 1 is a match-up versus Carrot Shticks (1-1-0), as they look to rebound. Next up for Avocado Discoballs is a Game versus Boarding Group Six (0-2-0).

 

Winded City FC (2-1) vs. Boarding Group Six (0-2) – Monday, April 08, 2019

Winded City FC beat Boarding Group Six 5-2 in this game. Justin Wiebe tallied a hat trick while Sebastian Peinado scored two goals.  This heartbreaking loss comes when Boarding Group Six scored their personal best of the season. They still had notable players including Cisco, who kicked one goal for Boarding Group Six. Soccer? I Hardly Know Her! (2-1-0) are next up on the schedule for Winded City FC, as they look to keep it going.   Next game, Boarding Group Six seeks to get their first win with a match-up against Avocado Discoballs (1-1-0).

 

Carrot Shticks (1-1) vs. Pangea (0-3) – Monday, April 08, 2019

Going into this game, both teams were hungry for their first win of the season. Finally breaking their losing streak, Carrot Shticks took home a close win against Pangea with a final score of 1-0. Pangea were unable to get rolling on offense in this one, and suffered a shutout.  While Alec Greenberg scored the only goal for Carrot Shticks giving them the W.  Next Monday, Pangea will seek to get off the schneid against Treadmill Trotters (2-0-0).  Next up for Carrot Shticks is a showdown versus Team Chicago 1 (1-1-0).

 

Treadmill Trotters (2-0) vs. ESPN The Ocho (2-1) – Monday, April 08, 2019

Treadmill Trotters and ESPN The Ocho had a defensive battle, with a combined score of three goals. Treadmill Trotters took home the 2-1 victory.  This is ESPN The Ocho’s first loss of the season.  Peter Wiersma scored the only goal for ESPN The Ocho to prevent the shutout.  Next week, Treadmill Trotters battle against Pangea (0-3-0) in an attempt to remain unbeaten.   The Renewable Machine (1-3-0) are next up on the schedule for ESPN The Ocho, as they look to rebound.

 

ABCDE FC (2-0-1) vs. MoLo Magic (0-2-1) – Monday, April 08, 2019

ABCDE FC absolutely dominated this game in shut out fashion against MoLo Magic with a final score of 5-0.  Andrew Yoder scored a hat trick while Keegan Eckhout and Courtney Flood each scored one goal in the win.  MoLo Magic struggled to get it going in terms of scoring in this one, but they’ve had 0 overall goals this season.  MoLo Magic tries to get their first win next week against Our Moms Think We’re Good (3-0-0).  Next Monday, ABCDE FC seeks to stay unbeaten with a pairing against Team Awesome (1-1-1).

 

GT Soccer (1-0-2) vs. INDY Team #1 (1-2) – Monday, April 08, 2019

Earning their first win of the season, GT Soccer beat INDY Team #1 2-0. INDY Team #1 didn’t have their best stuff in terms of scoring in this game, and couldn’t seem to find the back of the net.  Corporate Soccer Team (0-2-1) is next up on the schedule for INDY Team #1, as they look to get into the winner’s circle. GT Soccer will try to remain unbeaten next week with a Game against LP United (3-0-0).

 

Soccer? I Hardly Know Her! (2-1) vs. The Renewable Machine (1-3) – Monday, April 08, 2019

Soccer? I Hardly Know Her! were incredible on both sides of the pitch against The Renewable Machine with a final score of 6-0. The Renewable Machine struggled to get it going on the offensive end in this game, but they’ve had 4 overall goals this season. Next up for Soccer? I Hardly Know Her! is a match-up versus Winded City FC (2-1-0).   Next up for The Renewable Machine is a battle against ESPN The Ocho (2-1-0), as they try to bounce back.

 

Our Moms Think We’re Good (3-0) vs. INDY Team #11 (0-2-1) – Monday, April 08, 2019

In this match, Our Moms Think We’re Good beat INDY Team #11 7-1. INDY Team #11 were unable to put up much of a defense in this game, surrendering more goals than their average of 2.7 goals against per game this year. Poba  scored the only goal for INDY Team #11 to get their team on the board. Our Moms Think We’re Good will try to stay undefeated next week with a date against MoLo Magic (0-2-1).   Next week, INDY Team #11 takes on JNAM FC (0-0-3) in an attempt to get their first win.

 

LP United (3-0) vs. Corporate Soccer Team (0-2-1) – Monday, April 08, 2019

LP United and Corporate Soccer Team had a defensive battle, with a combined score of three goals. LP United took home the 2-1 victory. Corporate Soccer Team really gave it their all on defense in spite of losing, giving up fewer than their average of 2.7 goals against per game this season. Cody Maynard scored the only goal for Corporate Soccer Team to prevent the shutout.  Next Monday, Corporate Soccer Team takes on INDY Team #1 (1-2-0) in an attempt to put a 1 in the win column.  Next week, LP United faces off against GT Soccer (1-0-2) in an attempt to stay unbeaten.

 

JNAM FC (0-0-3) vs. Team Awesome (1-1-1) – Monday, April 08, 2019

JNAM FC and Team Awesome finished in a draw and concluded tied up at 1-1. This is Team Awesome’s first tie this season and they’re currently sitting in ninth place in the standings. Simon Lockwood-Bean was the star player for Team Awesome this week. They scored the only goal for their team. For Team Awesome next on the docket is ABCDE FC (2-0-1).  Exiting week 3, JNAM FC will look ahead to INDY Team #11 (0-2-1) who are next on the schedule.
