Balls Deep (0-0-2) vs. Go the distance (0-1-1) – Monday, June 17, 2019

Balls Deep and Go the distance played to a draw and ended all tied up at 0-0. Go the distance struggled to get it going in terms of scoring in this one, scoring less than their total from their Week 1 match.  For Go the distance they will go toe to toe with INDY Team #1 (1-1-0).  Exiting week 2, Balls Deep looks ahead to Avocado Discoballs (2-0-0) who are next on the calendar.

NM FC (2-0) vs. Upper Middle 90 (1-1) – Monday, June 17, 2019

NM FC controlled this game in shut out fashion against Upper Middle 90 with a final score of 3-0. Megan Green brought home the win with a hat trick. Upper Middle 90 really struggled to get it going in this game, scoring less than their total from their first match.  For Upper Middle 90 they will have a contest against Winded City FC (2-0-0) as they try to bounce back.  For NM FC, each week is a critical opportunity to build momentum as the season gets going. ESPN: The Ocho (2-0) vs. AD/HK (0-2) – Monday, June 17, 2019

ESPN: The Ocho and AD/HK had a defensive battle, with a combined score of three goals. ESPN: The Ocho took home the 2-1 victory. Just because they have this loss on their record, it does not mean they did not give it their all in this one, allowing fewer goals than they allowed in their first contest. Scoring for the victors was Ben Rosenkranz and Matt Allain. Tammy Tabush scored the only goal for AD/HK to save them from a shutout.  For AD/HK they’ll move on to a contest against Echo Madness (0-2-0) as they try to bounce back.   For ESPN: The Ocho, every game is a critical opportunity to get in a groove at the outset of the season. Indy Team 3 (1-0-1) vs. Soccer Hotties (0-1-1) – Monday, June 17, 2019

Indy Team 3 and Soccer Hotties had a draw and finished all tied at 2-2. Despite losing, Soccer Hotties really did everything they could in this game, exceeding their total from their Week 1 matchup. In the tie, Aly Helen and Eric G accounted for one goal apiece for Soccer Hotties. For Indy Team 3, their scoring came from Lauren Garatoni and Jack Wichmann. Exiting week 2, Indy Team 3 looks ahead to Team Awesome (0-1-1) who are next on the schedule.  For Soccer Hotties next on the schedule is Loose Balls (0-2-0).

INDY Team #1 (1-1) vs. GT Soccer (1-1) – Monday, June 17, 2019

INDY Team #1 put on a show on both sides of the pitch against GT Soccer with a final score of 2-0. Scoring for the victors was Ryan Smith and Alie Magnante. GT Soccer really were unable to get rolling in terms of scoring in this game, netting fewer than their total from their Week 1 match.  Exiting week 2, INDY Team #1 will look ahead to keep their early season momentum. Winded City FC (2-0) vs. The Boozers FC (0-1-1) – Monday, June 17, 2019

Winded City FC were incredible on both sides of the pitch against The Boozers FC with a final score of 4-0. The Boozers FC struggled to get it going in terms of scoring in this game, scoring less than their total from their first contest.  For the winners, their offense came from two goals by Brent Myers and one apiece from Sebastian Peinado and Britney Weizeorick. For The Boozers FC next on the docket is Net Six and Chill (2-0-0) as they strive to get into the win column.   For Winded City FC, every contest is a crucial chance for them to gather wins early on. Boarding Group 6 (1-1) vs. Avocados FC (0-1-1) – Monday, June 17, 2019

Boarding Group 6 beat Avocados FC 4-1 in this game.  For Boarding Group 6, every contest is a crucial opportunity to gain ground in the Standings at the beginning of the year. Next up is a throwdown against GT Soccer (1-1-0).  Avocados FC really played their A game on in terms of scoring in spite of the loss, beating their total from their first matchup. For Boarding Group 6, Duncan had a hat trick and Cisco scored the fourth goal. Ricardo Ortiz scored the only goal for Avocados FC to save them from a shutout.  As for Avocados FC next up is a match-up against ESPN: The Ocho (2-0-0) as they look to get to the win column.

Net Six and Chill (2-0) vs. Loose Balls (0-2) – Monday, June 17, 2019

Net Six and Chill beat Loose Balls 4-1 in this game. Loose Balls didn’t have their best game in terms of defense in this game, allowing more goals than their opening contest. Leading to the win, the combined efforts of Leo Hamza, Meghan Day, Derek Fuji, and Vinny Bonano each scored one goal. Derrick scored the only goal for Loose Balls to prevent the shutout.  For Net Six and Chill, every game is a big opportunity to gain ground in the Standings at the beginning of the year. The Boozers FC (0-1-1) are next on the calendar for Net Six and Chill.   As for Loose Balls next up is a throw down with Soccer Hotties (0-1-1) as they strive to bounce back.

INDY Team #10 and Echo Madness played a close one up to the last minute with a final score of 3-2. Echo Madness really gave everything they had on offense in this game despite losing, beating their total from their Week 1 matchup. For INDY Team 3, Mario Selent scored two and Marc Jung scored the other goal. Exiting week 2, INDY Team #10 will look ahead to keep their early season momentum. Avocado Discoballs (2-0) vs. Game of Throw-Ins (1-1) – Monday, June 17, 2019

Game of Throw-Ins couldn’t pull together enough players for this game and had to forfeit to Avocado Discoballs. This forfeit was Game of Throw-Ins’s first loss of the season.  For Game of Throw-Ins they will have a match-up against INDY Team #10 (2-0-0) as they try to rebound.   For Avocado Discoballs, next up is a battle against Balls Deep (0-0-2), as they go for another W. 

Jazz (1-1) vs. The Purple Kixie Sticks (0-2) – Monday, June 17, 2019

Jazz absolutely dominated this game in shut out fashion against The Purple Kixie Sticks with a final score of 4-0. The four goals came from Sarah and Daniel Ziegler with their goals and Ignatius Bokai with their two goals.  For Jazz, next up is a showdown with NM FC (2-0-0), as they go for another W.  The Purple Kixie Sticks struggled defensively in this one, surrendering more goals than their first matchup.  For The Purple Kixie Sticks they will have a showdown with u/11 superstars (1-1-0) as they attempt to rebound.
