SPRING 2018 THURS WALTER PAYTON MEN’S COMP. BASKETBALL – CSSC LEAGUE RECAP – WEEK 3

Eskimo Bros (2-1) vs. Washington Wizards (0-3) – Thursday, April 19, 2018
Eskimo Bros and Washington Wizards competed in an absolute shoot-out, totaling 160 points. By the score of 93-67, Eskimo Bros got a dominant win against Washington Wizards. They really brought it, besting their points per game average of 71.7. Tom had a nice performance to help get the crew the win with 23 points.  William Kloss put in 23 points for Washington Wizards. Next on the schedule for Eskimo Bros is Kevin Durant’s Next Team (1-2-0).  Washington Wizards will try to get off the schneid on Thursday against Premature Shooters (1-2-0).

LFG (3-0) vs. Notorious B.I.G. (2-1) – Thursday, April 19, 2018
LFG and Notorious B.I.G. competed in an up and down affair, combining for 212 points. LFG got a dominant W by the score of 131-81, to maintain a zero in the loss column. LFG really showed up, besting their points per game average of 102.0. Sterling Williams had a tremendous performance to lead the team’s offense with 35 points. Sterling Williams now is in the lead for the scoring title with 27.00 points per game. Notorious B.I.G. did everything they could in this one despite losing, exceeding their average of 66.0 points per game for the year. The leading scorer for Notorious B.I.G. was Andy R who netted 20 points. Next up for LFG is Still Ballin (3-0-0).  Next up for Notorious B.I.G. is a showdown against One Time (3-0-0), as they attempt to rebound.

Kevin Durant’s Next Team (1-2) vs. PDT (0-3) – Thursday, April 19, 2018
By the count of 68-58, Kevin Durant’s Next Team got a solid W, their first of the year, against PDT.  They really showed up on defense in this one, beating their season points against average of 64.7 PPG. James Patrick had a nice performance to help earn the group the win with 23 points. Bryan Hancock accounted for 14 points for PDT. Kevin Durant’s Next Team will face Eskimo Bros (2-1-0) next week. Next game, Kevin Durant’s Next Team battles against Urban Knights (0-3-0) in an attempt to get on the board with a win.

One Time (3-0) vs. Urban Knights (0-3) – Thursday, April 19, 2018
With a score of 73-56, One Time got a big victory, to maintain a zero in the loss column against Urban Knights.  Dan Buoniconti had a gigantic night to lead One Time’s attack with 26 points. Daniel Mendoza had 21 points for Urban Knights. Next on the schedule for One Time is a battle against Notorious B.I.G. (2-1-0).  Next game, One Time takes on PDT (0-3-0) in an attempt to get on the board with a win.

Still Ballin (3-0) vs. Premature Shooters (1-2) – Thursday, April 19, 2018
Still Ballin and Premature Shooters lit up the scoreboard, combining for 152 points. By the count of 80-72, Still Ballin got a respectable win, to stay unbeaten against Premature Shooters.  They really showed up in this game, beating their points per game average of 71.3. Tim McCrary had an enormous week to lead the group’s offense with 32 points. Premature Shooters played their A game in terms of scoring in this game even though they lost, they beat their average of 64.0 points per game this season. Andy Timson netted 21 points for Premature Shooters. Next on the schedule for Still Ballin is LFG (3-0-0).  Washington Wizards (0-3-0) are next up on the calendar for Premature Shooters, as they attempt to rebound.
