Still Ballin (2-0) vs. Urban Knights (0-2) – Thursday, April 12, 2018
By the count of 64-54, Still Ballin got a solid win, to maintain a zero in the loss column against Urban Knights. Tim McCrary had a tremendous game to help earn the team the W with 27 points and Josh Elde scored 18 points. These guys did everything they could on defense even though they lost, they allowed less points than they gave up in their opening match. Even in a losing effort, Daniel Mendoza had a quality week to lead the team’s offense with 23 points, while Dyron Woods scored 11 points. For Still Ballin, next up is a showdown with Premature Shooters (1-1-0), as they look for another win early on this season. As for Urban Knights they will have a showdown against One Time (2-0-0) as they strive to get to the win column.
Eskimo Bros (1-1) vs. PDT (0-2) – Thursday, April 12, 2018
Eskimo Bros got a significant win by the score of 73-60, their first of the year against PDT. They really brought it in this game, topping their first game point total. Matt Ewig and Tom each had huge weeks to help gain the club the W with 23 and 25 points, respectively. Despite losing, PDT did everything they could in this game, topping their total from their first game. Even in the loss, Bryan Hancock had a solid game to lead the team’s offense with 22 points, while Carter Bass scored 15 points. Eskimo Bros will try to make this win a streak with another W in week 3. Washington Wizards (0-2-0) are next on the docket for Eskimo Bros. As for PDT they’ll move on to a game with Kevin Durant’s Next Team (0-2-0) as they try to bounce back.
One Time (2-0) vs. Premature Shooters (1-1) – Thursday, April 12, 2018
With a score of 61-43, One Time got a big W, to remain unbeaten this season against Premature Shooters. They showed some toughness in this game, earning the victory, even with scoring less than they posted in their first game. Jay Alexander had a solid performance to lead the squad’s offense with 13 points, while Ryan Fabrizius had 11 points. Premature Shooters really struggled to get it going on the offensive end in this game, netting fewer than their total from their opening match-up. The leading scorer for Premature Shooters was Briggs King who put in 16 points. One Time will try to keep a clean record with another W in week 3. Urban Knights (0-2-0) are next on the calendar for One Time. For Premature Shooters next on the schedule is Still Ballin (2-0-0) as they strive to come back from this one.
LFG (2-0) vs. Washington Wizards (0-2) – Thursday, April 12, 2018
LFG demolished Washington Wizards concluding the game with a score of 85-50 to remain undefeated this season. These guys really showed up on defense, allowing fewer points than they gave up in their opening game. Sterling Williams had a strong showing to help earn the group a victory with 24 points. Washington Wizards struggled to get it going on offense in this game, scoring fewer than their total from their opening match. Tim Zettinger had a strong week to lead the team’s offense with 14 points, while Briley Kellison scored 11 points. Exiting week 2, LFG will look ahead to keep their early season momentum. Next week LFG will compete with Notorious B.I.G. (2-0-0). For Washington Wizards next up is a battle with Eskimo Bros (1-1-0) as they look to finally get a W on their record.
Notorious B.I.G. (2-0) vs. Kevin Durant’s Next Team (0-2) – Thursday, April 12, 2018
Notorious B.I.G. and Kevin Durant’s Next Team were extremely comparable in this match-up. With a score of 66-65, Notorious B.I.G. got a hard-fought W, to stay unbeaten against Kevin Durant’s Next Team. They stepped up, beating their opening game point total. Adam had an amazing game to help gain the crew the win with 25 points and Bill Flowers scored 13 points. Kevin Durant’s Next Team really brought their best on the offensive end in this game despite losing, beating their total from their opening game. Even in a losing effort, Jake Bischoff had a strong night to lead the squad’s offense with 19 points, while Brendan McClenaum netted 16 points. Notorious B.I.G. will look to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 3. This week Notorious B.I.G. will take on LFG (2-0-0).
