SPRING 2018 SUN DEPAUL MEN’S REC BASKETBALL – CSSC LEAGUE RECAP – WEEK 3

Vandelay Industries (1-2) vs. ZS (0-3) – Sunday, April 22, 2018
Vandelay Industries and ZS played in a close one. Vandelay Industries got a hard-fought W by the score of 52-50, their first of the campaign against ZS.  They stepped up, topping their points per game average of 47.0. Daniel Render had a nice game to help get the club the victory with 15 points. ZS really didn’t have their best stuff in terms of scoring in this one, scoring less than their average of 56.0 points per game for the season.  Michael Dent had a huge performance to lead the squad’s attack with 36 points. Next on the schedule for Vandelay Industries is No Limit (3-0-0).  Next week, Vandelay Industries face off against Hanging with Mr. Hooper (2-1-0) in an attempt to get their first win.

Biddy Ballstars (2-1) vs. ZS (0-3) – Sunday, April 22, 2018
By the count of 73-53, Biddy Ballstars got a big win against ZS.  They really showed up, besting their points per game average of 63.3. Kyle Ritz had an amazing showing to help earn the squad the winner’s circle with 25 points. ZS didn’t have their best showing on D in this one, surrendering more points than their average of 65.7 points against per game this season.  Michael Dent had a gigantic performance to lead the group’s attack with 42 points. Next on the schedule for Biddy Ballstars is Dirty Mike and The Boys (3-1-0).  On Sunday, the team tries to get on the board with a win with a match-up against Hanging with Mr. Hooper (2-1-0).

Dirty Mike and The Boys (3-1) vs. Hanging with Mr. Hooper (2-1) – Sunday, April 22, 2018
Dirty Mike and The Boys demolished Hanging with Mr. Hooper concluding the game with a score of 83-55, to get their third-straight win. These guys stepped up in this game, besting their points per game average of 64.8. Chris Sotos had a huge game to help earn the squad the win with 40 points. Hanging with Mr. Hooper really were unable to put up much of a defense in this game, giving up more points than their average of 52.7 PAPG for the year. Ted Kurlinkus scored 18 points for Hanging with Mr. Hooper. Next on the schedule for Dirty Mike and The Boys is Biddy Ballstars (2-1-0).  Next up for Hanging with Mr. Hooper is a match-up against ZS (0-3-0), as they attempt to bounce back.

No Limit (3-0) vs. Hoops I did it Again (0-3) – Sunday, April 22, 2018
No Limit and Hoops I did it Again competed in an up and down affair, combining for 156 points. No Limit got a pummeling tally in the win column by the score of 97-59, to stay unbeaten against Hoops I did it Again. No Limit really brought it, besting their points per game average of 86.3. Bryce Pierzchalski had an enormous week to help earn the team the W with 35 points. Hoops I did it Again really gave everything they had on the offensive end in this game despite losing, exceeding their average of 48.0 points per game this year. Grant Koby scored 19 points for Hoops I did it Again. Next on the schedule for No Limit is Vandelay Industries (1-2-0).  On Sunday, the team tries to get off the schneid with a match-up versus Biddy Ballstars (2-1-0).
