SPRING 2018 SAT DEPAUL MEN’S REC/INT. BASKETBALL – CSSC LEAGUE RECAP – WEEK 2

Brick by Brick (2-0) vs. Team Roberson (0-1) – Saturday, April 28, 2018
Brick by Brick and Team Roberson competed in an absolute shoot-out, totaling 163 points. With a score of 86-77, Brick by Brick got a respectable W, to remain undefeated against Team Roberson. They brought their A game in this one, exceeding their opening game point total. Thomas Chester had an amazing performance to lead the squad’s offense with 25 points, while Patrick put in 18 points. Even with a loss under their belt, Team Roberson has a long season ahead of them to make-up for it. Dyron Woods scored 24 points for Team Roberson. For Brick by Brick, every week is a big chance to gain ground in the Standings at the beginning of the year. Havas (0-2-0) are next on the docket for Brick by Brick.   As for Team Roberson they’ll move on to a match-up with Pound Cake (2-0-0) as they try to rebound.

Pound Cake (2-0) vs. Cheeky Teasers (0-2) – Saturday, April 28, 2018
Pound Cake and Cheeky Teasers had a defensive battle, combining for just 69 points. Pound Cake got a big win by the score of 43-26, to remain undefeated this season against Cheeky Teasers. They battled for this game, prevailing, even with scoring less than they did in their first game. Dalton Wagler had a nice game to help earn the club the win with 19 points. Cheeky Teasers didn’t have their best stuff in this one, scoring fewer than their total from their first game. Exiting week 2, Pound Cake will look ahead to keep their early season momentum. Team Roberson (0-1-0) are next on the calendar for Pound Cake.   As for Cheeky Teasers they will have a showdown with INDY Team #4 (2-0-0) as they try to bounce back.

INDY Team #4 (2-0) vs. Havas (0-2) – Saturday, April 28, 2018
Havas forfeited to INDY Team #4. For INDY Team #4, every contest is a critical chance to build momentum from the jump. Cheeky Teasers (0-2-0) are next on the schedule for INDY Team #4.   As for Havas they’ll move on to a match-up against Brick by Brick (2-0-0) as they strive to come back from this one.
