Join the club and be apart of Chicago's best tradition and the world's largest beach volleyball leagues this summer! We offer men’s and coed beach volleyball with levels varying from recreational to competitive. You can find us set up at three locations along the lakefront, North Ave Beach, Montrose Beach, and Oak Street Beach.

Our player perks include sponsor bars (where you are sure to secure great drink specials each week), custom designed champ shirts and various sponsor giveaways each season make this league a win! Both team and individual registration is available.

Need more than Beach Volleyball leagues? Summer Tournaments are the best way to spend a Saturday in Chicago. Get your team together for a one-day competition at North Avenue Beach and join Six Pack (June 29), Volleywood (July 20) and the Labor Day Social (August 31). You can aim to take home some hardware with a top team or have an incredible day at the beach trying.

Formats

Coed 2 vs. 2 (1 Male/1 Female on the court)

Men’s 2 vs. 2 (2 men on the court)

Men’s 4 vs. 4 (4 men on the court) - recommended 8 players on roster

Coed 4 vs. 4  (2 men/2 women on the court) - recommended 8 players on roster

Coed 6 vs. 6 (3 men/3 women on the court) - recommended 10 players on roster 

Experience

7-11 games guaranteed, team jerseys, league administration, certified league staff, equipment, playoffs for qualifying teams, prizes for winners and drink and/or food specials at the sponsor bar

Jerseys

Each beach volleyball team jersey set includes the following pre-bundled sizes (No exchanges): Volleyball 4’s and 6’s includes 2S, 3M, 2L, 1 XL

Volleyball 2’s include 1S,1M,1L,1XL

Teams may purchase additional shirts or sizes for $5 per shirt

​Recreational

The Recreational level is CSSC's most basic level of play. You can think of it as the beginner level. Participants that play at this level are looking to first and foremost play their sport for fun. While competition may be important to them it is not necessarily the top priority.

intermediate

Intermediate

The intermediate level is geared towards participants who are still relatively new to the sport but are seeking a little bit more competition.  It’s a step up from Rec level with most players having a bit more experience. Participants playing at this level have a good knowledge of the rules and have played for a few seasons.

Upper Intermediate

The Upper Intermediate level is for those who expect a high quality of competition. Most participants at this level have played the sport for quite some time and have a strong base in the fundamentals of the sport.

The Competitive level is geared for participants with good experience playing their respective sport and who enjoy the competition of the sport as much as anything. This level is CSSC's top level. Participants at this level will have high school and even college experience playing their sport competitively.

Open

The Open level is available to all levels of play. It is "open" to everyone. It is a combination of skill levels that usually skews towards the intermediate level, depending on the sport.
