SPORTS DIVAS INC – KEEP THE WEEKEND PARTY GOING ON SUNDAYS WITH POWDER PUFF FOOTBALL

Keep the Weekend Party Going on Sundays with Powder Puff Football

Sep 12, 2012 | Monica Murphy-Vargas

Ahhh….fall Sundays in Chicago.  The sunny skies met with crisp autumn winds, the foliage, the football…the hangovers!  Let’s be honest, we’ve all been there.  One too many the night before, dragging yourself home while hearing the first birds chirping – or wait, was that the bar din still tingling in your ears…?   What starts as a regular college football

Saturday can easily turn into an all day and all night affair.  Now you’ve got a killer headache on a perfectly good sunny fall Sunday. Our rec?  Pop some aspirin, down a Gatorade, and get the wrecking crew from the night before back together for a new Sunday Fun Day idea – Powder Puff Flag Football!

If the same old gym routine has you burnt out, it’s time to shake things up this fall!  Be bright, be beautiful and be BADASS in Chicago’s new girls-only Powder Puff Flag Football league.

Presented by our friends over at CheekyChicago and Chicago Sport and Social Club, this 4 vs. 4 league is designed to encompass all things fit, feminine and fun!  With 4 on 4 you get more action on the field resulting in an actual work out and solid playing time.  Instead of laying on the couch watching football, get out and PLAY football.  With leagues starting at 10am and wrapping up by 2pm – you can still catch the Bears and other NFL games on Sundays – all with a clear head!

Games start Sunday, September 30th, run for 6 weeks  and are held at Lincoln Park Fields at North Avenue and Lake Shore Drive. Here’s more motivation to start recruiting your GFs: Use your Cheeky Card and get 50% off an individual or team registration!  Don’t have a Cheeky Card yet? Use the SportsDivas, Inc. code of:  CHEEKYSPORTS and get your card for only $50.

So grab your motivated girlfriends and keep the weekend party going on Sundays where you can create your own action on the field.
