Fall 2019 Wed Lincoln Park South TURF Men’s Competitive Flag Football – Week 4

Chicago Care Bears (4-0) v. Favre Dollar Footlongs (1-3) – Wednesday, November 6, and 2019

As was the case earlier this season, Chicago Care Bears won the rematch between these two squads. With a final score of 14-12, Chicago Care Bears maintain a zero in the loss column this season. This team really buckled down in this game, prevailing despite allowing more points than their season points against average of 6.0 ppg. QB Vincent Ngo passed one touchdown, which was caught by Rod and scampered for one more. Favre Dollar Footlongs were unable to get rolling in terms of scoring in this one, scoring less than their average of 14.50 points per game this year. For Favre Dollar Footlongs, in the loss, QB Adam Shiltz hit Devin Sloma for one touchdown and rushed for one. Next week, Chicago Care Bears will try to stay perfect with a match-up versus Wolves of Marcey St (0-4-0).   Next up for Favre Dollar Footlongs is a match-up versus Money Team (3-1-0), as they attempt to bounce back.

Money Team (3-1) v. Wolves of Marcey St (0-4) – Wednesday, November 6, and 2019

As was the case earlier this season, Money Team won the rematch between these two groups.   Money Team really showed up, topping their average of 24.80 ppg. QB Jeff Zabrin passed three touchdowns, hitting Tony for two of them. Wolves of Marcey St really struggled to get it going on the offensive end in this game, scoring less than their average of 7.80 ppg this season.
