Beercelona (0-0-1) vs. Benchwarmers (0-0-1) – Tuesday, September 17, 2019

Beercelona and Benchwarmers finished in a draw and ended knotted up at 4-4. This is Benchwarmers’s first tie this season and it was their best offensive performance yet. In the tie, Issam Kaisse scored three goals for Benchwarmers with Jason Morgan finding the goal for the fourth. This week’s result puts Beercelona in fourth place in the standings. Connor Welby scored three goals for Beercelona to spearhead the club’s offense while Clint Urich contributed with a goal as well. For Benchwarmers next up is Da Sleeping Bears (1-0-0). Exiting week 1, Beercelona looks ahead to Team Indy (0-1-0) who are next on the docket.

Da Sleeping Bears (1-0) vs. INDY Team #3 (0-1) – Tuesday, September 17, 2019

Da Sleeping Bears controlled this game in shut out fashion against INDY Team #3 with a final score of 2-0. Da Sleeping Bears’s goalkeeper Thomas Gore played very well in the shut out. Will Ossyra and Andy Kaplan each lasered in one goal to help gain the team the win. For Da Sleeping Bears, every game is a critical opportunity to get in a groove. Benchwarmers (0-0-1) are next on the schedule for Da Sleeping Bears. Despite losing, INDY Team #3 has a ton of weeks to practice on the offensive end. For INDY Team #3 next up is a showdown with Summit Sweepers (0-1-0) as they attempt to come back from this one.

Migos FC (0-0-1) vs. Out of Shape FC (0-0-1) – Tuesday, September 17, 2019

Migos FC and Out of Shape FC took part in a draw and finished all tied up at 2-2. Migos FC used their 2 goals scored in this game to boost their total goals this season to 2. Qudus Lawal and Christian Barrios scored one goal to help earn the crew the W. This is Out of Shape FC’s first tie this season and it was their best offensive performance yet. Jaime was the star player for Out of Shape FC this week. They scored all two goals for them. Exiting week 1, Migos FC looks ahead to Will’s FC (2-0-0) who are next on the docket. For Out of Shape FC they will go toe to toe with Yeovil (1-0-0).

Will’s FC (2-0) vs. Summit Sweepers (0-1) – Tuesday, September 17, 2019

Will’s FC shut out Summit Sweepers with a final score of just 1-0. It’s only the first week, and Summit Sweepers has significant amounts of games to go back to the drawing board on the offensive end. For Summit Sweepers next on the docket is INDY Team #3 (0-1-0) as they look to come back from this one. Will’s FC had a double header this week. Incredibly, they won both matches, which means they’re officially heating up! To help earn the team the W, Mackenzie Taylor scored their only goal. Their goalkeeper, Zachary Daniels, made sure Summit Sweepers would not score. This week Will’s FC will battle Migos FC (0-0-1), as they look to keep up the momentum.

Yeovil (1-0) vs. Team Indy (0-1) – Tuesday, September 17, 2019

Yeovil absolutely dominated this game in shut out fashion against Team Indy with a final score of 4-0. It’s only week one, and Team Indy has plenty of games to pick it up on the offensive end. For Team Indy they will have a showdown against Beercelona (0-0-1) as they strive to come back from this one. If Yeovil keep playing like this, they’re sure to find themselves near the top of the standings, as these guys are the highest-scoring team in the league early on this season. Paul Illuzzi and Travis Harvey both contributed to the final score with 2 and 1 goals respectively. Matt Burn also scored to get the team to their winning score of four. The team’s goalkeeper, Mike, got a shutout in this one. Out of Shape FC (0-0-1) are next on the schedule for Yeovil, as they look for another win early on this season.

Will’s FC (2-0) vs. The Ball Handlers (0-1) – Tuesday, September 17, 2019

In this match, Will’s FC beat The Ball Handlers 5-2. This week, Will’s FC came ready for a double header. They won both matches, which means they’re heating up! Mackenzie Taylor and Alex both kicked two goals to help get the group the W. The fifth goal came from Willy in this match. It’s only week one, and The Ball Handlers has tons of weeks to get better on offense. Sarah Broughton was the star player for The Ball Handlers this week. They scored all two goals for them. Will’s FC will try to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 2. Migos FC (0-0-1) are next on the docket for Will’s FC.   For The Ball Handlers next up is a throw down with #N/A as they look to bounce back.
