Fall 2019 Tues Lincoln Park South Men’s Intermediate Flag Football – Week 2
The Store (2-0) v. Malorts Finest (0-2) – Tuesday, October 8, and 2019
The Store and Malorts Finest were extremely evenly matched in this contest. By the score of 21-19, The Store got a close W to remain undefeated this season. Despite the win, they are the lowest-scoring team in the league through week one. QB Connor Zarbuck passed three scores, hitting Daniel R for one of them. Malorts Finest really gave everything they had in spite of losing, topping their total from their opening game. For Malorts Finest, in the loss, QB Kevin Grogan hit Colin Schwerin for two touchdowns and rushed for one more. Flag Team #1 blanked INDY Team #8. The season just began, but Flag Team #1 are the early leaders in scoring. QB Jake Jemmi threw six touchdowns, passing to Kyle Stearns for three of them and rushed in one on his own. INDY Team #8 may have to turn things around on offense in order to start climbing the standings, as these guys are the lowest-scoring team in the league through the first week. For Flag Team #1, every game is a critical opportunity to get in a groove at the outset of the season. This week Flag Team #1 will compete with Team Sriracha (1-1-0). As for INDY Team #8 they will have a throw down against Show Me Your TDs (1-1-0) as they look to bounce back.
We Have Gronk (1-0) v. Goon squad (2-0) – Tuesday, October 8, and 2019
We Have Gronk shut out Goon squad. QB Maxwell Clink passed four scores, finding Mykie G for two of them. Even though they lost, Goon squad are one of the higher scoring teams in the league for the year, averaging 17.00 points per game. This week We Have Gronk will battle Checkdowners (2-0-0), as they look for another win early on this season. As for Goon squad next up is a game with The 2019 Miami Dolphins (2-0-0) as they look to come back from this one.
Team Sriracha (1-1) v. Show Me Your TDs (1-1) – Tuesday, October 8, and 2019
By the score of 34-12, Team Sriracha got a dominant victory. These guys really stepped up, exceeding their first game point total. QB Thomas Shimamoto passed four touchdowns, passing to Alex Grage for two of them. Show Me Your TDs really didn’t have their best stuff in terms of scoring in this one, scoring less than their total from their opening contest. In the loss, QB Paul Novak hit Jeff Dolphin for one touchdown. For Team Sriracha, next up is a showdown against Flag Team #1 (1-0-0), as they look for another win early on this season. Checkdowners shut out KINGSMAN. These guys brought it, exceeding their first game point total. QB Dan Knisley threw two touchdowns, passing to Ian Peck for one of them and ran in two on his own. These guys did everything they could defensively in this game in spite of the loss, allowing less points than they gave up in their opening contest. This week Checkdowners will play We Have Gronk (1-0-0), as they look to keep up the momentum. As for KINGSMAN next on the calendar is The Store (2-0-0) as they try to get into the win column.

The 2019 Miami Dolphins and Ball Huckers participated in a close one. With a final score of 14-6, The 2019 Miami Dolphins remain unbeaten this year. They battled for this game, prevailing, despite scoring less than they posted in their first game. QB Max Novak passed two touchdowns, hitting Erik Stevenson for most of them.
