Squad Goals and The Tanglers had a draw and concluded knotted up at 1-1. This week’s result puts Squad Goals in second place in the standings. Nathan Joslin scored the team’s only goal, saving their team from defeat. Exiting week 2, Squad Goals looks ahead to Dave and the Goliaths who are next on the calendar. Despite the loss, The Tanglers really brought their best on the offensive end, beating their total from their first match. Jeff V was the star player for The Tanglers this week. Jimmy Savile’s U10s put on a show on both sides of the pitch against Dave and the Goaliaths with a final score of 2-0. Jimmy Savile’s U10s are heating up, winning both of their games so far this season. Jimmy Savile’s U10s’s goalkeeper Justin Weaver deserves much of the credit after earning a shutout. Karim and Karim both lasered in one goal to provide some scoring. Dave and the Goaliaths really were unable to get rolling in terms of scoring in this game, netting less than their total from their first match. La mano de Dios are next on the calendar for Jimmy Savile’s U10s. Squad Goals are next on the docket for Dave and the Goaliaths.

INDY Team #5 shut out La mano de Dios with a final score of just 1-0. INDY Team #5 really showed some fight in this game, prevailing, even with scoring less than they posted in their first game.
