Dave and the Goaliaths and INDY Team #5 were very well-matched in this one and finished all tied up at 2-2. This is INDY Team #5’s first tie this season and it was their best offensive performance yet. In the tie, Alejandro Arguello kicked one goal for INDY Team #5. For INDY Team #5 they will face off with La mano de Dios (0-1-0). Dave and the Goaliaths used their 2 goals scored in this game to boost their total goals this season to 2. Siddharth Bhaduri netted one goal to guide the team’s attack. Exiting week 1, Dave and the Goaliaths looks ahead to Jimmy Savile’s U10s (1-0-0) who are next on the schedule.

Squad Goals (1-0) vs. La mano de Dios (0-1) – Saturday, September 14, 2019

La mano de Dios couldn’t pull together enough players for this game and had to forfeit to Squad Goals. This forfeit was La mano de Dios’s first loss of the season. As for La mano de Dios next up is a date with INDY Team #5 (0-0-1) as they attempt to bounce back. Squad Goals will look to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 2. This week Squad Goals will battle The Tanglers (0-1-0).

Jimmy Savile’s U10s (1-0) vs. The Tanglers (0-1) – Saturday, September 14, 2019

Jimmy Savile’s U10s were incredible on both sides of the pitch against The Tanglers with a final score of 6-0. It’s only week one, and The Tanglers has significant amounts of opportunities to get better on the offensive side of the ball. As for The Tanglers they’ll move on to a throwdown against Squad Goals (1-0-0) as they strive to get to the win column. Jimmy Savile’s U10s’s goalkeeper Justin Weaver should receive a ton of praise for the shut out. Juan and Tom each scored two goals to help get the crew the win. The duo of James H and Karim M each scored one goal to get the team to six. For Jimmy Savile’s U10s, every contest is a critical opportunity for them to gather wins early on. This week Jimmy Savile’s U10s will play Dave and the Goaliaths (0-0-1).
