Fall 2019 Sat Lincoln Park South Men’s Intermediate Flag Football – Week 1

Penny Sacks (1-0) v. West Monroe Wildcats (0-1) – Saturday, September 21, and 2019

By the score of 31-14, Penny Sacks got a big victory to remain unbeaten. If Penny Sacks keep playing like this, expect them to find themselves near the top of the standings, as they are the early leaders in scoring. QB Jimmy passed three TDs, hitting Danny for all of them and rushed for one more. Despite the loss, West Monroe Wildcats has tons of games to get better on offense. For West Monroe Wildcats, QB Alec Storms hit Jimmy Riley and Spencer Strup for one touchdown each. Exiting week 1, Penny Sacks will look ahead to keep their early season momentum. This week Penny Sacks will play Los Viejo Charros (1-0-0).   For West Monroe Wildcats next on the docket is Mega Meat Skillet (0-1-0) as they look to bounce back.

Los Viejo Charros (1-0) v. Mega Meat Skillet (0-1) – Saturday, September 21, and 2019

Los Viejo Charros and Mega Meat Skillet took part in a close one. By the score of 13-6, Los Viejo Charros got a win to maintain a zero in the loss column. Los Viejo Charros may need to get it going on offense if they’re going to keep rolling, as they are the lowest-scoring team in the league early on this season. QB Drew threw one touchdown, which was caught by Eric. It’s only the first week, but Mega Meat Skillet are the lowest-scoring team in the league so far. In the loss, QB Ryan Mccarthy hit Zach Mccarthy for one touchdown. Penny Sacks (1-0-0) are next on the calendar for Los Viejo Charros, as they look to keep up the momentum.   For Mega Meat Skillet they’ll move on to a matchup against West Monroe Wildcats (0-1-0) as they strive to come back from this one.
