Fall 2019 Sat Lincoln Park South Coed Recreational Flag Football – Week 2

Hulk Smash (2-0) v. Flags & Flasks (0-2) – Saturday, September 21, and 2019

Hulk Smash and Flags & Flasks played in a nail-biter. By the score of 27-19, Hulk Smash got a nice W to maintain a zero in the loss column this season. This team buckled down in this one, winning, even with scoring less than they did in their opening game. QB Clay delivered two touchdowns, hitting Tony for one of them and ran for two with his legs. Flags & Flasks really struggled to get it going in this game, scoring less than their total from their Week 1 matchup. In the loss for Flags & Flasks, QB Cass hit Damien for two touchdowns. Next up for Hulk Smash is a battle with Shockers.   Next up for Flags & Flasks is a battle with Shark Attack.

Shockers (2-0) v. Shark Attack (0-2) – Saturday, September 21, and 2019

Shockers and Shark Attack were very evenly matched in this one. The final score of 18-12 reflects the hard work Shockers put into every minute of the game. They battled hard for this one, prevailing, even after scoring less than they did in their first game. QB Jimmie passed one touchdown, which was caught by Janelle and rushed for one more. Shark Attack really didn’t have their best stuff in this one, scoring less than their total from their opening game. In the loss, QB Kevin hit Bobby for two touchdowns. Run and Gun (2-0) v. Wet Lettuce (0-2) – Saturday, September 21, and 2019

Run and Gun blew out Wet Lettuce. Run and Gun put 61 on the board and held Wet Lettuce to 12 points. They really stepped up in this game, exceeding their opening game point total. QB Richie Foreman passed five touchdowns, finding Alex for two of them and scampered for one more. Wet Lettuce really struggled to get it going in this one, scoring less than their total from their opening matchup. In the loss for Wet Lettuce, QB Matthew Schnettler hit Matthew Schnettler for two touchdowns. Next up is a throwdown with Drink!Teach!Score. Next up for Wet Lettuce is a Game against INDY Team #3.

Sweet Sweet Candy (1-1) v. INDY Team #3 (1-1) – Saturday, September 21, and 2019

Sweet Sweet Candy shut out INDY Team #3.   Despite the win, they are the lowest-scoring team in the league through the opening week. QB Jason passed three TDs, passing to Jason for two of them. INDY Team #3 really didn’t have their best stuff in terms of scoring in this one, scoring less than their total from their first game. For Sweet Sweet Candy, every contest is a big chance to heat up at the outset of the season. Mongrels are next on the docket for Sweet Sweet Candy.   For INDY Team #3 they will have a game with Wet Lettuce as they attempt to get to the win column.
