INDY Team #5 (1-1-1) vs. Relativity (1-2) – Monday, October 28, 2019
Earning their first win of the season, INDY Team #5 beat Relativity 6-0. INDY Team #5 brought their A game, topping their average of 2.0 goals per game. Lynn Lazzeretti netted two goals. The defenders did a great job in this game by helping Marco Salgado earn a shutout. Relativity struggled to get it going in terms of scoring in this game and came short of making it onto the scoreboard. Next up for INDY Team #5 is a throwdown versus Velvet Taquitos (2-0-2). Next up for Relativity is a battle against The Renewable Machine (2-1-0), as they look to rebound.
Team International (2-0-1) vs. Reside Living (1-2) – Monday, October 28, 2019
Team International were amazing in this shut out against Reside Living with a final score of 6-0. Team International stepped up in this one, besting their average of 3.0 goals per game. Torrey Cameron kicked two goals. Shout-out to goalie, Spencer Graf, for the shutout! Reside Living struggled to get it going in terms of scoring in this one, and suffered a shutout. Next Monday, Team International faces off against Avocado Discoballs (3-0-0) in an attempt to remain undefeated. Boohoo and Yes we can were extremely even in this contest and concluded knotted up at 0-0. With no goals to add to their record, this game drops Yes we can’s average to 1 point per game. For Yes we can next on the schedule is Soaring Yamakas (1-2-0). Boohoo don’t have a reputation of scoring a lot of goals this season, so this result wasn’t much of a surprise. Liquorpool and Soaring Yamakas were extremely neck and neck in this game up to the last minute with a final score of 3-2. Soaring Yamakas really struggled to stop anything in terms of defense in this game, giving up more goals than their average of 2.3 goals against per game this year. Velvet Taquitos controlled this game in shut out fashion against Team Awesome with a final score of 3-0. Team Awesome were unable to get rolling on offense in this one and suffered a shutout. Next game, Team Awesome will seek to get on the board with a win with a match-up against Invincible Super Solemates (1-1-1). The Renewable Machine and Lady Cougars competed in a Game where the defenses dominated, totaling three goals. The Renewable Machine took home the 2-1 victory. This is the second week in a row The Renewable Machine took home the win. Brown accounted for two goals to steer the group’s attack. Relativity (1-2-0) are next up on the calendar for The Renewable Machine, as they look to keep it going. This is Lady Cougars’s first loss of the season. Avocado Discoballs and Invincible Super Solemates competed a nail-biter up to the last minute with a final score of 4-3. This heartbreaking loss comes when Invincible Super Solemates scored their personal best of the season. Josh was the star player for Invincible Super Solemates this week. They scored both goals for their team. Avocado Discoballs continued their winning streak this week and are officially on fire. Chris Mueller tallied a hat trick to steer the team’s attack.
