​’JERSEY SHORE’ STAR PAULY D TO HEADLINE VOLLEYWOOD 2011

Update: Lil Jon to replace ‘Jersey Shore’s’ DJ Pauly D at Volleywood 2011 Beach Bash

“Jersey Shore” star DJ Pauly D will be fist pumping his way to Chicago’s Lake Shore Drive this summer when he headlines the Volleywood Beach Bash at North Avenue Beach on Saturday, July 9, 2011.

Described as the city’s biggest beach party and sand volleyball tournament, Chicago Sport and Social Club’s annual event typically draws around 5,000 patrtygoers and features around 300 teams competing for cash prizes.

Other live acts to “beat up the beat” to will include Too White Crew and DJs Rock City and Ryan Pullano. Food, games and plenty of drinks will also be available.

The Volleywood Beach Bash, open to those 21 and over, will run from noon to 7 p.m. General admission tickets cost $10 each and VIP cabanas are also available. Visit Facebook.com/ChicagoSocial for more information.

Pauly D and the rest of the “Shore” crew are currently filming the MTV reality show’s fourth season in Florence, Italy. The network recently announced that they will return to Seaside Heights, NJ later this summer to begin filming Season 5.
